Kim Taehyung was the son of one of the most powerful families in Dengu. His family had a hotel business and owned several hotels around the world. Taehyung lived with his parents and grandmother. His grandmother was always taking care of him while his parents were working, and they all lived together in a luxurious home in Dengu. Taehyung was 12 years old when his parents died in a car accident. After their dead the young boy was placed in custody of his grandmother who made sure he graduated from high school, and from the university. He graduated with honors and obtained a bachelor's degree in business at the age of 21. However, Taehyung refuse to leave his grandmothers side. He attended local school so that he could "take care of his grandmother". His grandmother tried to convince him to study abroad but Taehyung refused every time she brought up the subject.

Kim's' Home in Dengu
Taehyung's grandmother run their family business and did her best to teach Taehyung to be a good man, and she did a great job with the youngster. She worried about Taehyung since he became an introvert after his parent's dead. He was shy before his parents passing and after, he was even more shy. He always had a pure heart, was extremely innocent, and inexperience but also extremely intelligent. He had a few friends, and he loved his grandmother. She knew everything about her grandson since there was no secrets between them. Taehyung consider his grandmother his most precious possession since he didn't have any other family members around.
Taehyung's grandmother had to constantly travel around the world to take care of the family business. Usually short trips so that Taehyung wouldn't be alone. From time to time Taehyung would accompany her to some of those trips, but not very often. Even though they own a hotel business the family prefer the comfort of a home, so they owned several house properties around the world as well.
As Taehyung grew older his grandmother worried for him. She would stay up at night thinking about her grandson and what would happen to him when she dies. After all, the world was cruel specially for a shy, innocent, inexperience, pure hearted angel like Taehyung. She felt week and she knew she had little time with her grandson.
With her grandson in her mind she decided to prepare for his future without her.
Taehyung's grandmother kept thinking about a young man she met several years ago when she visited New York for one of her business trips. A young man that became close to her heart after the many business trips in which they would spend time talking, and even shared personal stories and memories with each other.
Flash back
Taehyungs grandmother got to New York and a car was waiting to take her home. She got in the car and the car finally stop in a nice neighborhood in Manhattan. At her arrival a young man was waiting for her outside the house.
