Chapter 26

The week went by. Jin called and texted Kook from Tae's phone but never got an answer. They were all worry about Kook and also Tae since he promised he will call them, but he never did. Tae was still staying at the penthouse with Tanie. He would cry every day specially at night, but at least he had Tanie to keep him company. Jimin and Yoongi where getting ready to go back to NY. They hope to be able to help their friends once they get there. Kook checked in to a hotel close to the university. He had decided to give Tae some time and since he was weeks away from his finals, he decided to disconnect completely from everything and only focus on school and work.

It was Friday April 12 when Yoongi and Jimin came back to NY almost two weeks since Tae's and Kook's fight. The couple settle on their home and at dinner time they went to meet with the rest of the group at Jin's and Joon's home.

Yoongi: So, then no one know what the fight was about?

Jin: No. They didn't elaborate on it.

Jimin: Yoon, please tell them.

Joon: Wait, you know what they fought about?

Yoongi: No, that is not it. What Jimin means is to tell you guys that I know where Tae is.

Joon: We know he is at the penthouse already. I talk to the director and he told me.

Jimin: I thought you guys said you haven't talk to any of them.

J-hope: We haven't. Tae gave us his phone so we could call Kook and said he would get another phone and call us to give us his new number, but he never did.

Mark: We tried calling the penthouse, but he is not answering.

Jin: We pretty much decided to give them time.

Jimin: What about Kook?

Mark: I saw him at school. He told me he is in a hotel, but he is good. He has finals coming up in a few weeks, so he has been spending a lot of time at the library.

Yoongi: Well, I think they have had enough time. I am going to go talk to Tae.

Jimin: Yoon, I think is better if I talk to Tae. I can give him a better inside about Kook. You should talk to Kook.

Mark: Good luck with that. More than likely he is at this hotel where he is staying, and he doesn't want to tell us where that is. Your only chance is to wait until his next class and that is next Monday.

Jimin: Then I will see you guys later. I am going to go see Tae.

Jin: Good luck.

J-hope: Good luck. Tell him we miss him.

Jimin was standing in front of Tae's door. He had to take a few second before he got the courage to knock on the door. Tae open the door with a small smile after seeing Jimin standing on the hallway. He pulled Jimin into a hug.

Tae: Jimin! I am so happy to see you. I miss you... How are you?

Jimin: I miss you too.

Tae: Come in please.

Jimin: Thank you. Tae, how are you?

Tae: I am good. Me and Tanie are great!

Jimin: Tae? Really, how are you?

Tae: I... I have been better, but this is my life Jimin. I've known hurt and pain for a long time. I would like to say that I am used to, but I am really not.

Jimin: I am sorry Tae. I don't know what happened, but I know the two of you are suffering. Please let me help. Please tell me what happen.

Tae: I don't know if I should tell you. After all he is your friend.
