Chapter 7

Tae was now in the patio seating on the couch. He was reading with his glasses on when all of the sudden he heard some shuffling. He lowered the book under his eyes, and he saw Kook about 25 feet away from him setting a mat on the floor. He was wearing a muscle shirt, shorts and headphones. All of the sudden Tae's eyes widen as he saw Kook take his shirt off. Kook had no idea Tae was there, since one, he was focus on his work out, and two, the distance between them not to mention the bushes and plants all around and in between them. Tae still with his face half behind the book, sees how Kook goes on the floor in what it looks like a push up position. As Kook started his workout Tae mentally starts counting wile biting his bottom lip," one... two... three... four--- twenty... what is happening to me? He is the one doing the workout and I am getting hot." Kook was now doing sit ups. By now Tae had his legs cross with the book on his right hand over his knee while the other hand was holding his sheen. He was still mentally counting and unconsciously smiling.

Tae finally got up from the couch and walked closer to Kook. He sat on the bench by one of the bushes. Kook finally notices him and takes his headphones off.

Kook: Hey... Hi Tae. When did you get here?

Tae: I was back there reading when you came here.

Kook: Oh, sorry I didn't see you. Did I disturb your reading?

Tae: Yes! ... I mean No of course not.

Kook: You want to join me?

Tae: No thanks I rather watch!... I mean... I... I am not into working out. I should go.

Kook: Stay and watch I don't mind...

Kook smirk. Tae's face was red, and he could hear his heart pumping so hard that it might just come out of his chest.

Tae: I think Mary is calling me... See you later Kookie.... I am coming Mary!

Tae left running in to the house. Kook laugh and continue with his workout. Once he finished his workout, he noticed a book on the bench. He took it with him and went inside his place to shower. He looked at the book he placed on top of his bed once he got out of the bathroom. 'Now I have another reason to see him' he thought. Tae on the other hand had to take another shower because Kook's workout really worked him out. 'How can you say those things to him? he must think you are a freak'. Tae kept beating himself up mentally for the chat he had with Kook.

Tae had asked Mary to kook for three. After changing and making a call to Yoongi he went to knock on Kook's door. Kook has just finish taking his shower and was contemplating the book on his bed when he heard the door. He hurried and went to open.

Kook: Tae come in.

Tae cover his eyes since Kook had only a towel around his waist with water drips all over his chest and wet hair.

Tae: I... I can come back later.

Kook grabbed Tae by the hand he was using to cover his eyes and pull him inside closing the door behind them.

Kook: Nonsense... and why are you covering your eyes?

Tae: Because you don't have a shirt on.

Kook: I didn't have a shirt on when I was working out and you didn't cover your eyes.

Tae laugh shyly and slowly put his hand down not making eye contact with the elder.

Tae: I guess you are right. I am sorry.

Kook: Why are you apologizing now? And why are you not looking at me? Did I do or say something wrong?
