Chapter 21

It was almost spring break and Tae was excited about many things. First, he had been enjoying every single moment he spent with his hot boyfriend. Second, Jimin and Yoongi where coming back from Korea. The company decided to move their main office to NY since they felt it was necessary to gain more ground internationally. This also meant that Yoongi was going to be able to spend the majority of the time in NY. Third, the day of their group trip was approaching.

Tae was at the moment shopping with Kook for a few things for the trip. They were buying swimming shorts, sun block, hats and some other things to spice up their trip. As Tae was searching for swimming shorts, Kook told him he was going to go and look at some shirts on the other side of the store. Tae told him he would meet him there.

As Kook was picking some of the shirts he was going to buy, a voice called his name.

Unknown person: Jungkook?

Kook: Oh! Hey!

Unknow person: What a coincidence... I... have been thinking a lot about you lately!!! Now that I think about it this is no coincidence, this is destiny bringing us back together!!!

Kook: Really? I...I don't think this is that.

Unknown person: I know you are mad at me, and you have the right to be, but I know deep inside you, you still miss me.

Taking a step back and with a serious look Kook responded.

Kook: Please stop! Don't get close to me and no! I don't miss you at all.

Tae had finished picking up the shorts he wanted and headed to where Kook was. As he was getting closer, he noticed Kook was talking to another guy. He stopped for a second but decided to join him.

Unknown person: Jungk---

Tae: Kookie!!!

The unknown male and Kook turned their sight to Tae.

Kook: Tae?

Tae: Who is your friend?

Before Kook could answer the other beat him to it.

Unknown person: Hi! My name is Yungyeom, Kim Yungyeom.

Tae: Hi! Nice to meet you. My name is Taehyung, Kim Taehyung.

Yungyeom: Nice to meet you too Taehyung.

Kook: Are you ready to go Tae?

Tae: Yeah, but if you guys need time to catch up, I can always come back.

Kook: No! That is not necessary we were just saying goodbye. Isn't that right?

Yungyeom: Yes, nice to see you Jungkook and nice to meet you Taehyung.

Kook: Bye!

Tae: Same here! Bye!

Kook place his hand on Tae's waist and guide him to the register to pay. They finished shopping and went home. The way back home was quiet. Tae sense the other mood change, but didn't wanted to make the other more uncomfortable, so he waited until they got home. Once they were home and, in the room, Tae finally broke the silence.

Tae: Kookie? Are you okay?

Kook: Yeah, why?

Tae: You have been extremely quiet, and you look like something is bothering you.

Kook: N-no, I am fine babe. Don't worry, I am just a little tired, that's all.

Tae: Then go wash up and I'll take care of this. I'll see you in bed, okay?
