Chapter 23

Tae ran until his legs almost gave up on him. He was a few blocks away from the university and for his luck he spotted a cab. He got on the cab and gave the cab driver an address. His phone was ringing but he declined to answer. About a minute after he got a notification. He looked at his phone and saw Kook was the one calling and texting him, so he decided to turn his phone off. The cab stopped on the address Tae gave him. Tae asked him to wait for him. Tae went into the house and got a few things in a bag and ran out back into the cab. Tae gave the cab driver another address. On his way there Tae turned on his phone to make a phone call. He gave the person on the other line his name and some instructions and ended the call. Tae turned off the phone again. Tae got to his destination. He went in and a person was expecting him. He was given and envelope and went straight to an elevator and into a suite. Once in the suite Tae went to his room. He placed his bag on the floor and sat down on the edge of the bed where he finally broke down crying.

Tae was broken and at the same time he could not believe this was happening to him. He was once again alone crying and hurting emotionally. Just when he thought his life was changing for good, he gets hit again. He was now curled up on the bed sobbing. There were no more tears on his eyes just tear stains on his cheeks. He ended up crying himself to sleep.

Kook kept calling and texting Tae. He called Joon, Jin, J-hope, Mark and Jimin to see if they had heard from Tae but no one had heard from the younger. Kook got home and went straight to Tae's room but found it empty. He noticed some drawers were open and went to close them but stopped when he noticed the once full drawers where now empty. His heart was hurting inside him, a tear rolled down his cheek and he felt on his knees from weakness.

Kook: Tae... Baby, where are you???

After a few minutes Kook heard a knock on the door. He ran to the door hoping it was Tae. He opened the door to find Jin and Mark at the door.

Jin: Kook, what happen? Did you find Tae?

Kook: N...No!

Kook broke down crying in front of the two males. Jin hugged him, trying to calm him down. Mark concerned started texting the others. He let them know Kook was crying because apparently him and Tae had a fight. He also let them know Jin and him tried to call and text Tae but his phone is off, so they don't know where Tae is.

Joon and J-hope headed to Tae's home. Jimin called Mark and Yoongi tried to call and text Tae. Kook was only able to tell them that Tae miss understood the situation and was upset at him but did not went into details. The only person he wanted to talk to at the moment was Tae. Jin took Kook to the couch while Mark went to the kitchen to make some tea and coffee for the others. Joon was talking to Yoongi about possible places where they could go look for Tae. J-hope was taking care of Tanie since the puppy censed there was something wrong and was acting up. Jimin was on the phone with Jin listening to Kook crying.

It was almost midnight and Tae was not home. Jin suggested for Kook to go to sleep but he refused. J-hope convince him to at least lay down with Tanie since the little guy obviously miss him and Tae. They all decided to stay with Kook. Jimin finally went to sleep and Yoongi continue searching for Tae. He knew Tae better than anyone but for some reason he didn't think about calling the director from the hotel in NY. He went to the living room not wanting to wake up Jimin. He dialed the number and after a few rings the director picked up the call.

Director: Hello!

Yoongi: Hello, I am sorry to bother you. This is Min Yoongi.

Director: You are not a bother Mr. Min. How can I help you?

Yoongi: I need to know if you talked to Taehyung today?

Director: Yes, Mr. Kim called me this afternoon. I am not sure if I should be telling you this since he wanted to be left alone.

Yoongi: I understand, but you know that I am his guardian so that does not apply to me.

Director: I supposed you are right... Mr. Kim order to have the penthouse ready for him. He ordered security outside the door so that no one disturbs him. He said not to give any information about him to anyone. I saw him this afternoon as he got to the hotel. I gave him and envelope with his key and he went straight to his room. There are two security guards guarding the penthouse entrance.

Yoongi: I need the phone number for the penthouse.

Director: Sure, let me get it and I will text it to you Mr. Min.

Yoongi: Thank you. Again, I am sorry for disturbing you this late.

The call ended and a few minutes later Yoongi got a text message with the phone number for the penthouse. He dialed the number. Tae was sleeping when he heard the phone in the room. He hoped it would stop ringing, but it didn't. He got up and answer thinking it was probably the receptionist.

Tae: Hello!

Yoongi: Tae? God! You had me all worry kid. Why didn't you answer your cellphone?

Tae: Yoongi? How did you get this number? How did you know I was here? Did you tell anyone else?

Yoongi: No, I didn't tell anyone, and did you forget I am your best friend? I know you more than you think Tae.

Tae: Please don't tell anyone. I need sometime alone.

Yoongi: I won't tell anyone but Tae... at least tell them or let me tell them that you are okay. They all are worry sick about you. Kook is devastated. Tae... What happen?

Tae: Hyung... I will send them a text. Please don't asked me what happen because I really need time.

Yoongi: Okay, I won't ask for now, and I won't say anything to the others, but Tae... Kook loves you. Talk to him. You two need to talk and try and resolve the problem, whatever it is I am sure you guys can fix it.

Tae: Okay. I'll talk to him. Thank you hyung. I'll talk to you later.

Yoongi: Take care kid...

The called ended and Tae took his phone and pressed the button to turn it on. When the phone finally turned on, there were over 30 miss calls and over 20 text messages. He right away send a text message to everyone letting them know that he was okay and not to worry about him. He told them he needs some alone time and asked them to take care of Tanie for him.
