Chapter 25

It was noon when Tae woke up. As he was waking up, he hoped everything was just a nightmare. As he fully opened his eyes, he realized he was in the penthouse and most definitely this was real. He got up, order room service, took a shower while the food arrived. The food was finally there. He answered the door and told the guards they could go, and he will call them if he needs them. After eating his food Tae had decided to read a book. He heard a knock on the door and thought it was the servers coming back to collect the dishes from early. He opened the door without looking and focusing on his book.

Tae: Come in.

Tae went to seat on the couch again focus on his book. The person who enter the room close the door and follow the distracted boy to the living room.

Kook: Tae, can we talk?

Tae slightly jump out of his seat after hearing that voice. He stood up and with a shock look question the other.

Tae: What are you doing here?

Kook: You told me to come in.

Tae: That is because I didn't notice it was you. How did you know I was here?

Kook: So, you don't want to see me?

Tae: I told you, I need space... How did you know I was here?

Kook: You mention this penthouse before. I figure you might be here... Tae please listen to m-

Tae: I don't want to Jungkook. I saw enough already. Please leave.

Kook: But, Tae.

Tae: No buts. Now please go before I call the guards.

Tae was now holding the door open for Kook to get out. Kook walked slowly to the door and stopped to look into Tae's eyes.

Kook: I am going to go, but you will see me again, that I promise. If you love me as much as you said you did you will see me again. I know I hurt you and I am sorry baby, but there is more to what you saw... You don't have to stay here; you can go back home. I will leave your house today so go back to your home. I know you don't believe me, but I love you... I love you so dam much baby, don't forget that.

Both boys had tears rolling down their cheeks. Kook took the doorknob and close the door in his way out. Tae wanted to stop Kook. He wanted to tell him to stay in the apartment. He wanted to do more than just talk to him. He wanted to hug him, to hold him, and get lost on his eyes, and his lips. He was hurt and his pain blinded him, that's why he could not get himself to stop the love of his life from leaving.

Kook got to his apartment and packed his clothes with some personal essentials. Jin was not there but Kook knew if Jin saw him he would try to stop him, so he hurried up and left the house. He left a note for Jin along with the house and car keys. The note read

Hyung I am sorry to leave without saying goodbye.

I do want to thank you and the rest of my hyung for

your support. I have to leave so that Tae can come

back to his home. Please tell him that I love him and

not to forget me. Please take care of him for me. As

far as me goes, don't worry about me. I will be fine,

I'm fine. I will send for my furniture and the rest of

my stuff once I get a place. Please let Tae know.

Jin took his phone and called Kook but there was no answer. He also sent text, but he didn't get a response. He called Tae who actually picked up.

Tae: Hello!

Jin: Tae, what happen? Why did Kook leave? Did you told him to leave?

Tae: What? Jungkook left?

Jin: He did, and he is not answering my calls or text. Did you talk to him?

Tae: He came to see me. We didn't talk much.

Jin: Tae, call him please. He left pretty much everything here. He only took some clothes with him. He left the house keys, his apartment keys and the car keys. He said in his note that he will send for his furniture once he finds a place. Tae, he is not coming back.

Tae: I will be there in about 30 minutes.

Jin: Okay, I'll see you then.

Tae got to his house to find a worry Jin being held by Joon. J-hope and Mark where also there. Mark was making the group something to eat while J-hope had a sad Tanie on his arms. As soon as the puppy saw Tae, he started fighting J-hope to put him down. Tanie then ran to Tae looking for comfort on his arms.

Tae: Did he came back?

Joon: No. J-hope and Mark also called him but no luck. His phone is off.

J-hope: Did you called him?

Tae: N...no. I was hoping he would be here by now.

Jin: Please call him Tae?

Tae: I ... I don't think I can do that..

Jin: What do you mean you can do that? We are talking about Kook; he is family Tae.

Tae: I am sorry, but I didn't tell him to leave. If he left, that is on him.

Joon: Tae, he is your boyfriend.

Tae: Not anymore.

J-Hope: Tae, I don't know what happen between the two of you, but whatever it is I am sure you guys can work things out.

Mark: I understand if you don't want to call him but do this so we can at least know that he is okay. You are probably the only one that he would answer to.

Tae: Then take my phone, I'll get another one. Now, I have to go. I am taking Tanie with me.

Jin: Where are you going?

Tae: I am not staying here. If you guys do talk to him let him know that he doesn't have to move. He can come back. I will call you guys with my new number later.

Joon: Are you sure this is what you have to do Tae?

Tae: Yes hyung. I need to do this. I love you guys.

Tae left without any other words and Tanie onhis arms. He asked the driver to stop to get a cellphone before heading to thepenthouse. Once he got back to the penthouse Tae let Tanie on the floor and hesat on the couch to set up his new phone. He was about to call his friends, buthe decided against it. He thought it was better to just take the time to be onhis own.
