New Year's Eve was going to be a special day for the group. Their plan was to spend the night in Time square to welcome the New year, watching the crystal ball come down, follow by couples kissing, and the fireworks while freezing their asses off. They had decided to use the subway since traffic was usually horrible on that date, and also because they thought it might be safer, since there was always those who would abuse alcohol and drive at the same time. The group left early to get a good spot to enjoy the experience of welcoming the new year in Time Square.
As expected, it was freezing but everyone was excited about being there. They all joined the crowd counting down the last seconds to the coming year.
The group all together: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
All of them kissed their respective partners after that. The firer works illuminated the sky and the couples broke the kiss to now appreciate the view. The night was everything and more of what they all were expecting.
Tae: I love you Kookie!!!
Kook: I love you baby!!!
Yoongi: I think we should definitely go home now. I am freezing!
Jimin: Me too.
They all headed to the subway. Right behind them there was a group that was somewhat intoxicated by alcohol. One of the guys kept checking out Tae. As they were waiting for their train the guy grabbed Tae's by his wrist.
Guy: Hey! What is your name beautiful?
Tae: Please don't touch me!
Kook: What are you doing? Don't touch him!!!
Guy: Wow! Feisty, aren't we? Just the way I like it, and two beauties. I guess tonight is my lucky night!!!
The guy got even closer to Tae and Kook.
Kook: You really need to stay away from us.
Guy: Oh baby, but I am not doing anything. I just want to see the two of you closer. You and your friend are just to irresistible. Why don't you give me your number, better yet, why don't you come to my place?
Kook: Not interested.
Guy: Your lost cutie. How about you beautiful, I will make it worth your time...
Kook: He is not interested either.
Guy: I am not talking to you anymore. Do you speak for him now? He can't answer on his own.
The guy was now on Kook's face and the younger's blood was boiling inside. Kook tightened his fist as the guy kept getting closer and closer. Tae was also losing his patients.
Tae: ARE YOU FUCKING DEAF? HE TOLD YOU WE ARE NOT INTERESTED SO FUCK OFF YOU ASSHOLE!!!
Guy: I guess you do talk, and you cursing me off just makes you look so much hotter, beautiful.
Tae now was furious. He moved in front of Kook to face the guy.
Tae: YOU WILL SEE HOW MUCH HOTTER I CAN GET!!!
With that Tae punch the guy right on the face.
The rest of the group: WOW!!!
Kook: Tae baby!!! Wow!!!
Guy: What is wrong with you?
Tae: YOU, YOU ARE WHAT IS WRONG!!! TAKE A FUCKING HINT AND LEAVE US THE FUCK OFF BEFORE I BREAK YOUR FUCKING NOUSE!!!
Yoongi: I did not see that coming!!!
Jin: Tae, you definitely surprised me with that!!!
Joon: You should really go before he kicks your ass.
The guy was pulled by his friends who witness their drunken friend made a full of himself. Their train finally arrived, and they all got on and headed home.
JH: Lets go home before Tae beats the crap out of that guy!!!
Jimin: Yes! I agree!!
Joon: Tae you just crossed off a few things from the list!!!
Tae: That guy was an ass!!
Kook: Baby, that was so hot!!!
Joon: Twenty-one down, nine more to go...

Once they got home Tae and Kook when to explored 3rd base again. This time pleasuring each other.
The group spend the rest of the week together before Yoongi had to go back to Korea. Before that Yoongi made sure to help Jimin furnish their home. JH and Mark did the same all curtesy of the one and only Taehyung who had hirer them an interior designer. The interior designer also met with Jin and Joon. Tae wanted them to pick their furniture since the house was already furnished when they moved in. Tae wanted everyone to pick and decorate their homes to reflect their personalities and taste.
For the coming weeks Jin, Joon, Mark, JH and Jimin where busy decorating their homes. Tae and Kook on the other hand where also busy exploring 1st, 2nd and 3rd base. Tae was sure he could play in the major leagues but was not sure how to tell his coach, who he admirer so much. Kook on the other hand wanted to go all the way with Tae, but he didn't want to push things. With Valentine's day coming, Kook saw an opportunity to score a homerun, but he wanted it to be special. He started planning for the occasion.
Yoongi was not able to come to New York since he took a couple of weeks off. He wanted to spend Valentine's day with Jimin but since he could not come to him, he asked Jimin to come to Korea and spend some time with him. Jimin accepted right away. Their home had just been finished so the timing was perfect. Kook was also happy because since Yoongi was in Korea Jimin was staying with Tae since he didn't want to be on his own. Now that Jimin was leaving to see Yoongi, he could plan better for an unforgettable day for him and Tae.
