"Well, I'm obviously going with your plan. Whatever it is, I have no choice." I state. "So? What's the idea?"

"I am telling you, you are not going to like it." Johnny warns.

"Just tell me your idea, Orlando." I demand.

"Okay, jeez." He says. "Who knew you had attitude."

"I can be worse." I tell him.

There was a short silence.

"You and I fake date." Johnny suddenly spoke as my eyes shot up to look at him.

"You're kidding, right?" I ask.

He stayed silent.

"Oh, you're serious." I spoke.

"Told you, you wouldn't like it." He says.

"Until when?" I ask.

"That. I haven't thought of." He tells me. "At least you consider the idea."

"I did not say anything about- hey- you- seriously?!" I say as I give him an 'i cannot believe you' look.

"Annie!" Maddie yells as I walk up to her.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Did you hear?" She asks

"Hear what?" I ask, confused.

"Jayden." She tells me softly.

"What about Jayden?" I ask, still confused.

"Shh! Not so loud!" Maddie stops me.

"Sorry?" I spoke. "Now what is it?"

"You know Connor?" Maddie asks. "Like- Johnny's best friend?"

"Yes? Now what does he have to do with Jay- oh." I spoke realizing what was going on. "Oh. My. God."

"I know right?" Maddie tells me.

"You can't be serious." I tell her.

"When did I ever take you as a joke?" She asks.

"You have a point." I tell her.

"You think Lauren would freak?" She asks.

"Nah. He's not related to Lauren in any way." I tell her before we reach our table in the cafeteria.

"Hey." Maddie tells the others as we both sit down like everything's normal.

"Since when did you two start dating?!" I accidentally yelled gesturing between Jayden and Connor.
