"You know Lauren's brother?!" I yell out in shock.
"Shh! Keep your voice down." Annie says looking around.
"You know what that means, Ann's." I tell her.
"Well, we haven't officially met." Annie tells me.
"You haven't officially met? What do you mean you haven't officially met?" Jayden asks.
"We didn't talk. I mean, I didn't talk." Annie states.
"Explain." I said in a demanding way.
"He only saw me in Lauren's house. That's it. Then Lauren introduced me, his overprotective brother." Annie explains.
"You also want to stay away from them." Jayden says "not because we don't want you to get hurt."
"It's not because you guys don't want me to get hurt?" Annie asks.
Jayden and I both nod in agreement to Annie's statement
"Then why did Lauren tell me to stay away from his brother because she doesn't want to see me hurt?" Annie asks again.
"No, there's another reason why you should stay away from him." Jayden explains.
"Him. More like them." I spat out getting a look from Annie and a glare from Jayden.
"Them?" Annie asks.
"His friends." Jayden explains.
"Why? Are they bad news or something?" Annie asks
"They were bad news." I mumble.
"They're troublemakers, Ann's. They'll be the reason, we will blame, if you got kicked out of this school, honestly." Jayden tells to the both of us.
"They're that bad?" Annie questioned.
"Well, I'm guessing this year they did become a lot better?" I tell her.
"Better?! They did not cause any trouble or mess yet this semester. This is a miracle!" Jayden yells out.
Annie lets out a small laugh before Lauren walks up to us.
"Hey, guys, what have I missed?" Lauren asks
"Nothing much." I tell her
"Only the thing you haven't told us Annie knows about your brother." Jayden tells Lauren.
"Yeah, about that..." Lauren tried to reason out.
"Yeah, you've got some explaining to do." I tell her as I cross my arms as I get a nudge from Jayden.
"Well, they will meet eventually." Lauren spat out. "I mean, they didn't meet, the dangerous way."
