We were standing there facing each other.

We were so close to each other that I could feel his breath hit me.

Eyes not disconnecting.

Until we hear voices and we both back away.

"Don't move a step forward, Maddie."

I'm guessing that was Lauren?

"You do not want to go in."

"But we have to." the other voice says.

"If I get killed by my brother I'm telling him it was all you." Lauren replies

I look at Johnny and he has a small smirk on his face.

"I don't care. Let's just get in!" the other voice replies back.

"It doesn't even look like he's in here." I hear Lauren say as a smile grin showed up in my face.

"He can be in the bathroom." Maddie says.

I hear footsteps go closer and I just kept backing away until I bumped into Johnny.

We looked at each other for the sudden movements and that we hoped we didn't cause any noise.

"The bathroom door's unlocked. Plus, the light's turned off." Lauren states.

"Okay, so Johnny's not here." Maddie says as their footsteps fade.

I let out a sigh of relief.

I'm safe.

We're safe.

A few days have past since Annie and I snuck out from school.

We almost got caught by Lauren, just to let you know.

But we didn't.

I think it has been 3 days since that happened and I haven't invited Annie since.

I just thought Lauren would be curious.

I know we live in a judgemental world but honestly, I am fucking terrified to go to school.

Although I have been in school.

Just not in class.

I was too afraid to even see Nadia right now.

Because Lauren did warn me about why she was looking for me a few days back.

Because Nadia knows who I'm dating.

A new kid.
