Seonghwa stares off at the group that left, leaving Yunho and the kids and San behind. The pregnant beta stood still as he waited, but when nothing happens his smile curls up on his face, "I'm sure it's just a human hiking. They come through here all the time-"

His smile drops and the look of fear fills his face as he turns and waddles quickly down the hall, "Ash, Iry, Z! Come on kiddos we're going to camp out in the basement!"

"I bring my toys!" He heard Zaden call from the bedroom and the two rogues could feel the anxiety level rise in the beta.

"Bring one toy!" Yunho calls back, "Hurry, you guys have ten seconds!" He starts to count down, and sure enough within the five second time all three kids were running down the hall holding at least one of their stuffies in their arms.

"Come here Irys," San picks up the youngest, holding her on his hip as he leads everyone down to the basement. He turns back to Seonghwa and Wooyoung, "If I were you I'd come down as well."

Wooyoung frowns, "What's going on-"

"We'll explain later, but we need to go," Yunho stresses, holding his belly and hisses, "Come on!"

Seonghwa narrows his eyes, looking to Wooyoung and seeing his eyes are wide and he's shaking a little. Seonghwa guides him in front of him, the omega was a little resistant especially when he seen the staircase leading down to the basement.

"On your butts! Scoot down the stairs on your butts," Yunho calls softly, watching as the two older boys scooted down the stairs with giggles, holding their stuffies.

San smiles softly at them, ushering them into the basement and pointing, "In the safe room."

Wooyoung freezes halfway down the stairs and Seonghwa places a hand on his back, "Wooyoung?"

"D-Did he just say safe room?" Wooyoung whispers, looking up at Seonghwa.

"He did, and we'd be foolish not to listen to him," Seonghwa looks down at Wynter, "Come on we need to keep moving."

Much to his dismay, Wooyoung is guided down the stairs the rest of the way while Yunho locks the door at the bottom of the stairs. He gestured to the large metal door in the room and the lights inside of it were already on, "Quickly, we've already wasted too much time."

Wooyoung tenses once more but is dragged in there by Seonghwa. The omega whimpers, and Seonghwa held him close, "It's okay, we're safe now."

"Yes we are," Yunho closes the metal door to the large metal room, locking them in. There were bunk beds and cabinets full of food and snacks. Three bright LED lights lit up the whole room. It was like something you seen in a thriller movie or an apocalypse movie. Yunho sighs, "I don't know how long they'll be, but might as well make yourself comfortable."

San was watching Seonghwa and Wooyoung the entire time, his eyes more focused on Wooyoung as the omega presses himself in the farthest corner of the room. Seonghwa looks to Yunho with narrowed eyes, "What the hell is going on?"

Yunho sighs, looking at the children and rubbing his belly, "Not now-"

"Yes now!" Seonghwa growls, his eyes flash red, "My family is in danger and I have a right to know what is so big of a deal that we are locked in here!"

Wooyoung starts panting for air as he falls onto his knees, clinging Wynter closer to him and shaking. San frowns, walking over to him and crouching down, "Hey, it's okay."

"Seonghwa we shouldn't discuss this now," Yunho spoke firmly, whispering the next part, "Not when the children are present."

"Is a human hiking bad enough that you're trapping us in here?" Seonghwa scoffs, Wooyoung was shaking so hard he whimpers and the alpha turns to him. But freezes when he sees San. He snarls, his eyes once more flash red as his wolf awakens. Protect mate. "Get away from him!" Seonghwa snarls.

San rounds on him instantly and snarls back, his bright blue eyes take over his natural green and the alpha nearly steps back. Nearly. The beta snaps his jaw at Seonghwa as he stood in front of the omega and baby, his blue eyes locked in him, "Don't come any closer."

Seonghwa growls in warning, until he hears Wooyoung sob and just like that he snaps out of it. San kept his eyes trained on Seonghwa as he backs up to Wooyoung and crouches down. He finally looks away to cup Wooyoung's cheeks in his soft hands and touch their foreheads together.

The omega's anxiety level was high in the room and eventually the tension caused Wynter to wake up and start to cry. Seonghwa tries to go take her, but once more, San snaps and snarls at him to stay away. Now the alpha was getting pissed.

"It's too small, I can't breathe," Wooyoung whimpers, rocking back and forth while sitting on the floor.

Seonghwa growls, looking to Yunho and seeing he's sitting on a bed by the kids who were playing like this was nothing to them. The children didn't seem bothered, but Yunho was anxious as he rubs his belly and kept biting his lip when he looked at the door.

"I can't breathe," Wooyoung sobs, his breathing becomes harder as the air inside the small room grew thick with the omega being in distress. San shushes him and brings the omega in his arms, hugging him close as well as Wynter.

He looks over to Seonghwa and his eyes narrow as he shields them from the alpha. As if he was protecting them. Seonghwa stood away from everyone, not knowing what to do or say. He wanted to comfort his mate, but with San standing guard he can't. He wanted to ask Yunho what was wrong and what's happening, but the beta wouldn't budge either.

He was at a loss.
