"Runt."
"Worthless."
"You should've been an omega, you'd be much more useful."
The constant words of torment and pain targeted him since he came out as an alpha. He was tinier than the others and was often left behind on hunting trips when they were training. No one wanted to be his friend, they all thought he was too weak.
The older he got, and the more he acted different, the more even adults didn't want anything to do with him. His mother was the only one who sympathized with him. He was caring and kind like her, and even submitted to some alphas. Alphas never submitted, Seonghwa submitting to easily made the head alpha think of him as a disgrace.
He along with other alphas had tried to torment and pick on Seonghwa so much that he willingly left. Seonghwa would grit his teeth and bare the harsh words that were thrown his way. No one knew him, yet everyone acted as if he was a horrible creature.
What was so horrible about a misplaced alpha?
He begged the moon goddess every night to make him an omega instead so he wouldn't be bullied anymore, and often asked if there was a potion to change statuses. He hated being an alpha, he hated it with a passion.
One day, he was walking home from hunting when his father and the head alpha stepped outside on the porch, crossing their arms over their chests and staring him down. Seonghwa stopped and dropped the quails he killed in the field, "Is everything alright?"
They were silent for a moment before his father clears his throat, "Seonghwa, there's been an accident-"
Seonghwa's heart races as his father goes to tell his son that his mother had a heart attack in her sleep while he was hunting. He shook his head, not believing his father as he tried to move past them to go see her and his father steps in the way, a scowl on his face. Seonghwa frowns, "Why can't I see her?"
"Because I want you out of here," the head alpha growls, his eye flash red in warning, "An alpha like you doesn't belong here. You don't belong anywhere."
"My mother died. She's not even cold yet, and you're kicking me out? I knew you all didn't like me, so the whole reason for me being allowed to stay was because of her? Am I really that shameful to you all?" Seonghwa scoffs as he grips the quails tighter in his hand, blood pooling in between his fingers.
"You've brought nothing but shame into this pack since the day you came out as a worthless, pathetic alpha," his father snarls, "You don't act nor look like one and your mother was the only person in this pack who wanted you alive. And now that she's gone, we want you gone."
Seonghwa couldn't believe his ears as he stares at his father, his eyes narrow and before he can say anything he heard growls from all around. He looks, seeing all kinds of alphas surrounding him and he freezes.
"Leave. Or we will make you," the head alpha snarls, his pheromones over power Seonghwa's and almost makes him drop to his knees.
Seonghwa didn't even get a chance to respond before one of the alphas snapped at his heels and made him snarl. Another grabs him when he turned to face the alpha and grabs him by his shirt, dragging him to the ground and back away from the house.
He was dragged to the pack border, blood still covered his hands from the quails, but those were ripped out of his hands from another alpha that wasn't dragging him away from his home. The head alpha stops at the border of their territory and snorts, "Leave. And don't ever come back."
And Seonghwa never did. He roamed along the forests for months trying to survive on his own from hunters and other things in the wild. One day, he was hunting for a decent meal, when something caught his attention. It was a snap of a twig to his right, and he growls lowly as he listens for more.
