"So... what do we do with this?" Zachary asked worriedly, gesturing to the seemingly lifeless body on the coffee table in front of them in the teachers' lounge. Grae looked at the body as well, still in shock of the events that unfolded before his eyes. It was most definitely the most traumatizing thing that he had ever witnessed. He looked at Zachary with a face that displayed the same worry as that of his friend."I... have no idea- and for god's sake pull your damn pants up!"

"Hey Grae" Zachary greeted as he walked up the long brick stairs to be met with his best friend at the entrance of his high school.
"Hey leech" Grae greeted smugly. Zachary playfully glared at him and slapped his arm making them both laugh at their silly, childish behavior.
"How was the weekend?" Grae asked.
"it was fine..." zachary answered absentmindedly . his attention wasnt really focused on the conversation at hand, it was rather focused on a certain tall brunette inteacting with a group of people off in the distance .
Grae sighed to himself. hayden golias. the schools heart breaker. grae knew that zachary kinda had a tiny (huge) crush on the guy. this kinda broke his heart because he knew for a fact that hayden was straight. every time he tried to talk to zacharyabout it, he wouldnt take much note of it and continued to admire the older from a distance like for instance, now.
This was a daily habit. Usually Hayden would stand near the water fountains with Emily parker, Jason Ramsey and Elise marks. Grae narrowed his eyes.
Hayden golias wasn't your typical bad boy. Oh no, he was everything but that. He was dumbly smart, gentle, charming and such a tease. He has almost half the school wrapped around his finger but Grae was not one of them. To him, Hayden golias was just the typical playboy but there was no way that he was going to tell that to his best friend, oh no. no matter what, he was going to support his best friend. he had to figure it out for himself and when he did, grae would be there to help him get over it.
Grae nudged Zachary on the elbow. "Come on Zachy, momma needs you to talk to that man." Grae urged. Zachary just sighed and looked at Grae hopelessly.
"You know I can't, he's straight" Zachary sighed sadly.
Grae put his hand on Zachary's shoulder and looked him in the eye.
"Don't worry son, there are thousands of boys or girls out there for you. Don't keep fighting for something that doesn't need fighting for. You can't force him to be gay. If he's straight then there's nothing we can do okay?"
Zachary looked deep into graes eyes and nodded. Glad with the response, they continued their walk to the lockers.
"And I have a date this Saturday with Logan from the chess club?" Grae said, unsure of his date's extracurricular activity.
"oh my gash, you're such a hoe. Didn't you just go out with brad from robotics club?" Zachary asked.
"yes I did and I don't think that he's the right one for me." Grae stated matter of factly. Zachary just nodded and changed the subject, rambling on about some type of t-shirt he wanted to buy.
Gathering his thoughts in his head, Grae let out a breath of relief. Although he wants to see his friend be happy, he can't allow for a playboy like Hayden Golias to break his heart. Nope, not a chance.
