Hayden took a seat on an empty wooden bench of the church, looking as bored as he ever could. He never liked coming to church, he’d rather stay home and do other things but today, he couldn’t stand the ear stinging yell of his mother, forcing him to come to church.
He sighed in his misery. His eyes fell on a familiar figure kneeling at the first bench of the church, talking to a little girl, making her smile. His eyes travelled down from the boys hair, to his bottom. ‘nice ass’ he thought to himself.
The figure got back up and turned around and when his face was revealed, Hayden could place the name with it. The boy saw him and looked surprised.
“Hayden golias?” Hayden smiled and nodded.
“I didn’t know you attend church here” Grae said, moving into the row he was sitting.
“Yeah I don’t. I attend the other one down the road.” He lied. Grae nodded in understanding.
“you know” Hayden started. “ I couldn’t help notice your gorgeous ass” he smirked.
Grae looked at him with wide eyes.
“give me a good reason not to smack you right now”
“because I did nothing wrong. It was a simple compliment.” Hayden shrugged.
“ a very perverted compliment” Grae mumbled as he paged through his hymn book.
“youre welcome” he said, feeling full of himself.
At the entrance of the church, Zachary stood and looked for his best friend. Once he found him, he smiled but his smile only widened when he saw the other figure sitting next to him. He made his way over to the two.
“hi Hayden” Zachary greeted.
“hi Zachary” Hayden greeted in return. Grae moved up to make space for Zachary to sit in between them. It was quite silent except for the occasional greetings of other church members. Hayden leaned forward suddenly and looked at Grae.
“pssst. Grae” he whispered. Grae sighed but looked at him nonetheless.
“yes?” he whispered. “can I have your number?” Zachary’s ears perked up at this conversation. His heart beat going faster and faster. Grae deadpanned.
“no” Grae replied bluntly
“why?” Hayden whined
“because youre a perverted ass and I don’t like you.” Grae simply replied.
“youre mean”
“youre a pervert"
Hayden huffed and threw himself onto the back of his seat. Zachary looked at the two confusedly. Not even two minutes later, Hayden leaned forward again and looked at Grae.
“please” he begged.
“no” Grae mumbled, looking in his bag for his lipgloss.
“please”
“no”
“please”
“no”
“please”
“fine!” Grae whisper shouted.
Zachary couldn’t believe his ears neither could he believe his eyes. What was happening here?
Grae took a tissue out of his bag and wrote a couple of digits on to it. Thereafter he handed it to the guy, making him smile and lean back onto the back of his seat with satisfaction. Zachary stared down at his shoes wide eyed.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?
