After walking miles he found himself nowhere.
Realising that he was lied to.
Sad now, he again begin walking.
The hollowness grew with each step.
Even the ever lasting hope now dry.
But he did not regret as the journey was his resolution.
The snow was thicker, storm was quicker.
His body was bleaker, his feet got deeper.
As he try finding his keeper.
From far he saw an igloo.
He flapped his flippers, excitement emitted.
Upon entering he found an old man.
Covered with layers of clothing his face hidden.
"What brings you here little one" he said gently.
"Oh my fellow of the frozen land, can I reside beside you?"
A wide grin formed. "You can indeed"
The penguin jumped, thought he could fly with happiness.
"But I shall warn you that I am timeless"
The penguin couldn't understand but he needn't to.
The old man revealed his existence, younger he appeared.
Penguin now lost in the beauty, couldn't think what it was.
Once he opened his eyes, he saw nothing but himself.
Alone was he once, alone he twice.
But the source of solitude now formed.
Thus he found eternity within.
