It was the day after ally's birthday, for the first time ally slept, the whole night, in a room by herself. I woke up at around 8 to the sun shining through the windows, Jughead was still asleep next to me. I turned to face him and carefully moved his black curl that always seemed to drop in his face. He started to stir and he opened his eyes slowly, when they met with mine he smiled and said 'good morning' I smiled back and said 'good morning' he rolled so he was slightly on top of me and his face was buried in the pillow. 'Do I have to get up?' He groaned, I laughed and said 'yeah baby, you do. You have this thing called work today' he groaned again and then I said 'but maybe if your good, I'll give you a treat later' his eyes peered up from the pillow and said 'what kind of treat?' I smirked and shrugged my shoulders. His hand rested on my thigh and he slowly moved it up until he brushed the bottom of my shorts. I let out a breath and he said 'can I get a preview?' I shook my head and whispered 'ally's awake' I kissed his lips to keep him satisfied and then the door to our bedroom opened. Jughead sat up and welcomed ally over, she quickly ran to his side of the bed and he helped her up. She smiled when Jughead kissed her head and signed did you sleep okay? She nodded her head and said talk? He nodded and responded with they are downstairs, you want some breakfast? She smiled widely and then signed to me hi mummy, we have breakfast? I nodded and then opened my arms wide, she happily moved so she was on my lap and hugged me tightly. Jughead went to get up and as he grabbed a hoodie to put on, ally jumped on his back. He groaned but adjusted her so he could carry her downstairs.

We all walked down and I saw ally's box on the coffee table, I quickly grabbed it and headed into the kitchen. Ally was sitting on the breakfast island and clapped her hands when she saw me, I smiled and signed look what I found. She smiled at me and then signed talk, mummy, talk I carefully placed her hearing aids in and I whispered 'I love you' she giggled and said 'I love you too mummy' I kissed her head while turning to help Jughead with breakfast.

We had a big plate of pancakes and ally was very excited to eat them, I plated her a few pancakes and Jughead poured some maple syrup on top. We both watched her as she happily stuffed her face with the pancake.

About half way through breakfast there was a slight knock on the back door, I saw Jughead straighten and as he walked to the back door he kissed the top of my head.

The door opened and I saw as Jughead welcomed his father in, ally's head turned and she stopped eating. I could see she was nervous as she didn't know this man. I smiled at her and opened my arms, she quickly escaped her chair and ran over to me. I helped her up onto my lap and she cuddled down onto my lap burying her head into my neck. I hugged her tightly and Jughead saw this, I smiled at him and he said something to his dad. His dad smiled at me as he walked past onto the front porch. Jughead walked over to me and ally, 'everything okay?' He said while rubbing ally's back, her head raised and she saw Jughead. He picked her up and she said 'daddy who that man?' He sent me a smile and said to ally 'that man is my dad and I haven't seen him for a while so i might not be around much today' she nodded and then said 'will you be home for bedtime?' He smiled and said 'you bet' he kissed the side of ally's head and then put ally back to the floor, he lent down and kissed my lips softly 'We'll be on the porch for a bit but we will head to the bar later, keep an eye on your phone love' I nod my head and said 'will you be okay?' He smiled and said 'I need to clear somethings up with him and then I'll be home. He needs somewhere to stay while on parole and this was his home before... but I don't know how comfortable you would be with him around ally and your suppose to be moving in...' I stopped him and said 'jug, he's your dad. You wouldn't put me or ally in an uncomfortable position, I trust you. Look, we can talk later about this but I'm fine and once ally meets him she will warm up to him. He's your family baby, that means he's ours to' he smiled and placed his lips on mine. 'I love you' he said against my lips, I laughed and said 'go, we'll talk later. I love you too' I watched as he took a few pancakes and the maple syrup. I laughed as he walked to the door and went and sat on the porch with his dad.
