I was very much bearing my due date, I was tired all the time and constantly needing to pee. Jughead found it hilarious, but soon stopped laughing when I told him that he wouldn't be having sex for the next 4 months.

It was the weekend, baby was due this week and we had told Ally what would happen when the baby comes. I woke up this morning with a pain low in my stomach, now that baby was getting ready to get out I seemed to be have constant aches. I sighed and looked over at Jugheads side of the bed, he was still fast asleep and so I gently moved. I sat up on the edge of the bed, my hand rested on my stomach and I groaned, I heard a small laugh come from Jughead and his hand rested against my back. I sighed and said 'shut up, you're not allowed to laugh at me' he laughed again and said 'you're touchy in the mornings' I groaned again and said 'I'm sorry' he sighed and sat up, moving to sit next to me. I relaxed into his arms and I said 'I just want my body back, this one was kicking all night and I barely got any sleep' Jugheads lips pressed to my forehead and he said 'it's not long, just hold out a little longer and it will all be worth it. Soon we'll have our son' I nodded against his chest and then he stood up, holding his hands for me and helping me into the bathroom.

Jughead left and took Ally to school, I was downstairs on the sofa reading a book when the front door opened. My head turned and I saw Veronica, I smiled widely and I said 'thank god you're here. I'm going crazy' she laughed and said 'good morning to you too' I laughed and said 'Jughead won't let me leave the house, not since the doctor wanted me on bed rest since the scan in January' Veronica laughed and said 'understandable, I'm only here for a little bit. Jug said you could use the company' I nodded eagerly and then I said 'so what's happening? Tell me everything' she scoffed and said 'wow, you really are going crazy, aren't you?' I nodded and then said 'spill' she nodded and started talking about what had been happening at the bar and within our group.

When lunchtime came around Jughead walked through the door, 'hiya gorgeous' he said while kissing the top of my head. I smiled and said 'how was work?' He walked to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water before joining me on the sofa, 'it's was good, I missed you though' I smiled and then rested my head against his shoulder. His hand fell to my stomach where our son was kicking making the both of us smile. 'Right, we need to make sure everything's ready for baby. He's going to make his appearance any day now' Jughead said while sitting up to face me. I nodded and said 'okay, well first things first is my hospital bag ready?' He nodded and then said 'it's by the door, as well as the car seat.' I smiled and then said 'nursery, we have the cot, changing table, nappies, wipes, dummies, baby grows' he nodded and then said 'we have his bath and toys for him aswell' I smiled and said 'then I think we are ready' he smiled and lent forward placing his lips on mine and whispered 'good.' I pulled away from the kiss and said 'you know the only thing that isn't ready is his name, can you tell me yet?' Jughead laughed pecking my lips one last time and saying 'that wasn't part of the agreement, you wanted our son to have my name, that was your request. That means I pick his nickname and no I won't tell you' I groaned at him making him shake his head in a joking way.

Jughead grabbed his laptop from the office and came to sit with me on the sofa, I had fallen asleep and when I woke up it was to a tightening pain across the top of my stomach. I moved to sit up in hopes that the pain would go away and it soon did, I moved to stand up as baby was pushing on my bladder. I struggled to get to my feet so Jughead moved to help me up, 'thank you' I said while kissing his cheek and heading towards the bathroom.

I came back and Jughead was slipping his shoes on 'I'm just going to head out to pick Ally up' I nodded and said 'see you in a bit' he grabbed his keys and left the house. I waddled back over to the sofa slowly when the pain came back again, I took an inhale of breath and again waited for the pain to pass. A minute later I started to walk back and forth in the lounge and I said 'well, this was unexpected' after another 15 minutes the pain came back, this time it was stronger and lasted that little bit longer. I was gripping the kitchen side and once the pain eased I slowly walked over to my phone and I dialled Jugheads number:
