My sleep wasn't great, no matter how hard I tried that small bit of sand always found its was in. But the rumble of the ocean and the breeze were refreshing.I got dressed and decided to do some exploring.
The bath down to the beach was nice but slightly cluttered so I pulled and moved sticks out of the way as I walked.
The veil from the beach was amazing. It was a high tide. The rolling waved crashed over each other all competing to be first the touch the sand. Whitecaps raced along the wave tops. The ocean was a a grey, green colour that reflected the steely sky colour.
The cold breeze made things muffled and hard to hear.
I took a long deep breath in and finally felt peaceful.
Everything has been chaos since about months ago. I think another reason my parents sent me out her was because of jason.
One of my good friends Jason grace was killed in a car accident. It was so out of no where and it really took My bestie Piper Mclean and Leo Valdez into shock. They has always been closer with him than I.
I wanted to see Piper so badly. She needs to get away from everything else. She had dated Jason on and off for about two years and though she didn't say it, we knew that she loved him.
I wish I could love someone like that. I wished I could love someone like that and not have them die.
I got lost look out to the sea. In a whirlpool of my own thoughts.
I though about Luke and how different he was. I though about Thalia and how much I missed her. I felt so homesick.
I started to walk about the beach.
It was lonely. This was a pretty remote beach with only a few other beach houses further down the beach. It was early so barely anyone would be here.
I was getting really hungry, and was about to turn back when I looked back up the beach one last time.
I saw the silhouette of a person. It was strange seeing another human but I turned and walked quickly away. Confrontation wasn't my strong point.
I didn't question who that was down the beach. I wonder if I will see them again.
