jae most definitely didn't like to dance, though being in a kpop group that revolves around their amazingly good choreography( and their amazing rap and vocal line )didnt really help his case at all.

he just wasn't as fast of a learner like the rest of his members, and he feels terrible whenever they all have to redo the choreography because of his mistakes. from it ranging from a simple misstep, or even just blanking out as he forgets the next step.

the worst part his when he was granted a vocal part, which was very slim as he feels more confident when rapping, he had to sing while dancing. he most definitely couldn't keep his stability while singing and dancing as well as the other vocal members, but it was good enough for army, the members, and PD-nim, but not to himself.

jaehyun did tend to revive some hate from antis about his voice and his 'lazy' dancing, but he tried not to pay any mind to it, it mainly just makes him want to try harder.

but there was one comment he couldn't help but screenshot, saved in his gallery full of many photos.

'jaehyun's dancing isn't all the great compared to he rest, he simply doesn't fit in , remind me why he's in bts again?'

the comment did receive a lot of replies, mostly all disagreeing, but jae couldn't help but agree.

he wasn't the best dancer, yoongi was a much better rapper than him, so what did they really need him for?

it's funny how he preaches self love to armies, and yet, he can't even love himself.

jaehyun restarted the song and looked at himself in he mirror, his body moved alon with it, hitting all the right steps. he rapped quickly along with his part before going back into dance when it was over. all was well until he miscounted the steps in his head and ended up tripping forward.

he fell to his knees and heaved a sigh, pausing the song and allowing the silence to engulf him. instead of getting up he just fell forward, face down, making sure to not hurt his face as he did.

he just laid there in silence for, well, he doesn't even know how long. a gasp echoed throughout the room and he was flipped over, peeking one eye open he was met with a worried jimin.

the older sighed in relief when he did that, "do not scare me like that again," he said holding a hand over his heart, "i almost had a heart attack."

jae didn't speak, erupting more worry within the older male, "are you okay jae? what's wrong." he moved to sit criss-crossed, putting jae's head in his lap.

"nothing... just tired." he mumbled, closing his eyes.

"well that's expected when you work three hours pass the normal dance practice." jimin said softly, his hand reaching to rub a spot on the youngers cheek soothingly. "come on, let's get back to the dorms so you can eat, and shower because your sweaty."

"actually, i'm going to stay a little longer." he said standing up, stretching his arms and legs. he went forwards to press play on his phone when it was snatched off the speaker and shoved into jimin pocket.

"yeah, that's not happening, let's go." jimin said grabbing the others hand softly, but the male didn't budge. jimin sighed and let go, "you don't have a choice, your going to go back to the dorms, eat, take and shower and sleep, am i clear?" he said more sternly.

"but-"

"i said, am i clear."

jae let his head fall, mumbling a 'yes' and followed jimin out. seeing the adorable male act so motherly like was a rare sight, as he mostly joked around and lived to make people smile and laugh. seeing this side of him never failed to scare jae.

after a much needed shower and dinner, he climbed into bed, following his friends order from an hour earlier. not soon after he felt another body slide into his bed and wrap their arms around him. "why were you out practicing so late." hoseok asked softly, grabbing jaes hand and intertwining their fingers.

jae saw no point in lying, as hoseok will find out eventually, "i need practice, i want to make army know i can be better for them." he said in an equally soft voice.

"whoever is telling you this stuff is no army."

jae turned around in hoseoks arms, looking up at him with drowsy eyes, he eventually closed them, "do you really think i belong in bts? honestly? i mean i'm not that good of a dancer and i'm not the best rapper but-"

"stop talking about yourself like that jae, your amazing, you belong in bts, shut up and if i hear you say something bad about yourself again i'll make you."

jae peeked an eye open, a small smirk gracing his lips, "so scandalous."

"not like," he cut himself off with a sigh, "just shut up and go to sleep jae."

jae didn't respond, instead turning back to face the wall, letting hoseok pull him closer towards his chest. hoseok threw one leg over the smaller boy before bidding one last goodnight.

army got loads of jaeseok pictures the next morning,

thank you kim taehyung.
