it's been a couple months since the release of 'map of soul: persona', and after, jaehyun had been acting a little sketchy. at first, the boys thought is was just all the stress finally coming down on him, but lately it's been getting weirder.
jaehyun has been sneaking out when everyone was asleep, he's always on his phone and shying away from his members when they try and see who it is. at one point he's even lashed out on jungkook, who was playing around and took his phone out of his hand while he was texting someone.
he later apologized to him for acting out so immaturely.
now, his seven members sat in the living at three in the morning, yes, three in the morning. hoseok woke up, and he went to lay in jaehyun's bed, only to find him gone. he immediately woke up their leader, who woke up everyone else.
despite yoongi being terribly tired and upset that he was awoken, he too, wanted to know where their maknae has been going. it was silent in the dorm, they all had many thoughts going through their minds.
namjoon's head snapped towards jaehyuns room when he heard a window open. "what the.." he motions for the boys to follow, which they do, and peek open the door.
there stood jaehyun, who was quickly taking his clothes off and switching into pajamas, right after, he jumped into bed. namjoon decided to finally walk in, turning on the lights as he did.
jaehyun peeked an eye open, stretching his arms with an exaggerated yawn, and if they already didn't know he was gone, they would've believed he just woke up. "jaehyun, we need to talk."
the youngest member noticed the rest of them and sighed, pulling the covers over his body. "no."
"what?"
"i said no, i don't want to talk okay!" although it was muffled by the blanket, they all heard it clear. "just leave me alone."
"jaehyun! show some respect to namjoon, he's just trying to figure out what's going on with you." jin said sternly, stepping forward to rip off the blanket, only to be stopped by namjoon.
he shook his head and pointed towards the door, the members all filed out, namjoon staying in and shutting the door softly. he shut off the lights and sat on the edge of the maknaes bed. he sighed, before speaking in a soft voice, "jaehyun, i don't know what's going on with you, but i'm not only your leader i'm your brother too, i hope you know you can talk to me okay."
when he heard nothing, he just nodded to himself, leaning over and pulling the covers off enough to place a kiss on the males head. "goodnight."
when he knew that he was gone he pulled the covers off, he wiped at his eyes furiously as the tears wouldn't stop.
