jaehyun bounced around excitedly, watching as jin started gathering various cookware and food, placing them in certain areas of the kitchen. namjoon laughed at the excited male next to him, deciding to pull him back into his chair to calm him down.

he couldn't help it though, the three were going to do a vlive together— they were going to cook. seokjin was worried at first, but the managers concluded it would be a good vlive to have. sure, let's have the two most clumsy members cook together. what could go wrong?

seokjin was going to suggest another idea at first, but after seeing jaehyun get so happy at the thought of cooking with his hyungs he just couldn't destroy that.

jaehyun jumped from his chair with much excitement when jin told them they were going to start. he introduced them as 'namjinjae' to army, welcoming them to their 'cooking show'.

this earned two adorning looked from the older males, and very mixed comments from army.

'is it okay to have both jaehyun AND joonie in the same kitchen????cooking???'

'aww jaehyun seems so excited 🥺🥺'

they immediately started, jin assigning them tasks—making sure they aren't too hard as they answered fan comments occasionally. all was well, until they all smelt something burning.

confused the three looked around, jin looked in the microwave but there was nothing. he purses his lips and looked around. that was until his eyes landed on the stove, he screeched, "ahn jaehyun how come you didn't put water in the pot!!!!"

he pulled the pot off and showed jaehyun the now burnt, dry, ramen, "i gave you the easiest task!"

jaehyun frowned, rubbing the back of his neck, "oops? i forgot."

namjoon laughed at jaehyun, even he knew to put water with the ramen. jaehyun was making him look good, which he couldn't help but feel much better about his task.

he smiled as jin scolded the maknae, 'couldn't be me.'

namjoon spoke was too soon, once he turned he accidentally tipped over the bowl of vegetables with the knife he was holding.

the metal bowl clattered to the ground, getting the attention of the oldest and youngest member. jin almost fainted, letting out a sob, while jaehyun snickered from behind him.

jin knew this was a bad idea, looking to the camera filming the vlive. catching a glimpse at the boards of comments flowing in, laughing about the entire situation.

with a defeated sigh he walked towards it, "it seems as we have a problem..." he looked towards the two members who were currently throwing the fallen vegetables at each other, "this is the end of namjinjae cooking show...it failed. bye, army."

once the vlive was over jin rushed to the two playing members and grabbed their ears, "go clean yourselves up...i'll make dinner by myself." he shoved them away from the kitchen and watched as the scurried off.

he turned to the mess in the kitchen and stared blankly at it all, "ceo jin would never let this happen."

"namjoon! jin is talking about jinhit to himself again!"

oooops sorry for the lack of updates, i've been busyyyy. thank you guys for reading this book though, much appreciated.

1. jaehyuns faceclaim was originally going to be jay from IKON

2. i was originally going to have jaehyun's boyfriend hendery from WAYV, but like... MORKKKK (i was also thinking chungha as his girlfriend but we don't talk about that)

3. when i first created this book my original idea was to have him and yoongi not on good terms, cause he was placed in bts randomly so it would be obvious that someone would be pretty upset that he was just kinda put in without having to go through all the same hardships as them.

4. young jae was actually going to play a really big part in jaehyuns life but likeeee i kinda gave up on that (unlesss 👀👀)
