when jimin woke up, he immediately knew something was wrong. he couldn't exactly pinpoint what it was, but he just felt it.
he just randomly got chills every time he passed or even made eye-contact with jaehyun.
"jimin," taehyung called, motioning for him to come over, "do you want to go out with us after practice, we're going to the park."
jimin shrugged and grabbed an apple from the counter , "i guess."
jaehyun walked into the kitchen, quickly grabbing a water bottle and shoving it in his practice bag. jimin, once again, felt a chill go down his spine. taehyung noticed this and looked between the two.
"is something wrong, jimin?" jimin looked away from the maknae and towards taehyung.
"yeah..something just feels...weird."
"alright everyone! you ready?" namjoon called out, heading towards the door. they all sighed, but followed nonetheless.
it wasn't until they neared the end of practice that jimin noticed, and once he did, he couldn't help but let out a shriek. the other members looked at him oddly but he just pointed towards jaehyun with a shaky finger.
jaehyun held his hands up in defense, "i swear i didn't do anything."
"jimin, if you don't tell us what's wrong we can't fix it." yoongi said with a bored tone.
"he got taller!"
jaehyun tilted his head to the side, the walked towards jimin, and sure enough, he grew, taller than jimin, "sweet! i knew something felt off about me."
jaehyun continued to measure himself with jimin, who was still in shock at the revelation, "this can't be happening." he mumbled. "how can someone grow two inches overnight!"
"well you see–" jin was cut off by jimin falling to the floor, dramatically hitting the floor with his fist.
"it felt good to be taller than someone, but all good things must come to an end." he said, sadness laced in his voice.
jaehyun crouched down to jimins level, giving a sympathetic smile, "it's okay...shorty."
jimin launches himself on jaehyun, the others just watched with amused faces, those two.
