Dearest you,

Because of this book, I've meet new people and made new friends. To be honest, I rarely find myself making friends because I used to be aloof growing up. Most of the time, I just always wanted to be alone. I don't even engage myself even with my own neighbors. Yup, I am that kind of girl—I don't have the socialization skills.

However, writing has opened a world just perfect for me—where I can make friends and meet people without being judged. I am able to express myself more and understand others as well through the writing platforms. I guess, the reason why I distance myself from others is because, not that I am afraid to be judged, but I just don't want to deal with people's toxicity. I am the kind who would rather have a true friend of one or two than a large circle of hypocrites. But here on wattpad, here in my writing journey, despite knowing less about you guys, I feel so comfortable. Perhaps, it's because you are giving me the liberty to be myself by supporting me with my works or my ways of expressing things for that matter.

Diamond's Worth is a special work I've written. In the beginning, I was in doubt whether I should write this or not because I intentionally dedicate this book to those that have experienced sexual violence or even mental abuse. I believe that we can never understand exactly how they feel but I just would like to raise awareness on what our proper response should be to these brethrens of ours.

We should never judge. Individually, each one of us has our own story. We don't go through the same experiences and struggles in life. We never share the same pain even it may seem so. Hence, never ever resort to victim-shaming no matter what the circumstance is. Remember, no one will ever want to be abused. No one will ever seek to be violated and offended.

To you reading this, whether you are a victim by those vicious people or even by cruel events that the world has thrown on you, know that you are a Diamond. Your sparkle will never go dull. You won't ever lose your value and worth. Know that someone—if not your family and friends and or the people around you— will always treasure you the way you are. Don't let your past define yourself; don't let it shape your future.

Most importantly, know that God loves you. Your self-worth should not be based on how others see you, on what your past is or what your accomplishments and failures are, or by the unrealistic standards set to you by the world.  Our true worth is found in God. We should see ourselves the way He looks at us. We are His precious beloved.

And finally, thank you very much for letting me become someone. These past months, I've been questioning myself for not having any purpose at all. But God reminded me of my worth as well through this book—that He called me for a cause. Thank you, my babies, for giving me the opportunity to share. You have no idea how happy you guys have made me. Words will never be enough to express how grateful I am for having all of you.

Let me also take this chance to acknowledge those that are new to the family—readers who haven't read my other works. Welcome to MadamKlara's family. ❤️ I hope you also will give my other books a chance to be read. Enjoy reading!
