I sipped on my tea while standing outside this store. Me and Timon was window shopping while my mom was actually shopping for her trip to New York. Bastet and my mother was in the store while me and Timon was sitting on the bench watching people go by.

"Wellll you lookin all sexy. I wonder for who?"Timon smirked at me then sip his tea.

"I'm lookin sexy for myself if your wondering"I smiled at Timon. "Who you lookin good for?"

"Myself as well"Timon smiled. "But I be seeing you staring at your mother partner"

"He's so cute"i whined. "Why can't I?"

"Like I said. That's her business partner and she need him like really really need him for this business"Timon said.

"What he do?"I ask.

"He distribute the merchandise to different places and get the money back. He gives the money to your mother"

"Sounds like they doing a drug distribute, not clothing"I rolled my eyes.

"Well that's what they doing. Distribute clothes"

"So why he stays like not far from where she lives?"I ask Timon. He shrugged his shoulders shaking his head. My mother walked out the store with Bastet in the stroller crying out loud. I hurried getting up from the bench picking Bastet up.

"Okay I'm all done. Bastet must be hungry"my mother spoke while fixing her hair.

"There's a food court down there"Timon said getting up.

"The baby can't eat fries or a burger Timon"

"Not the baby. I want some food"Timon chuckle. We walk to the food court seeing a lot of people. I use to hate being around people. My anxiety would start acting up but now I'm use to seeing people.

My mom and Timon sat down at a booth. I sat next to Timon while holding Bastet in my arms. She gonna be so spoiled by me. "That baby gone be spoiled"Timon mumble.

"I heard that and yes she will be spoiled cause I want her to love me more then Dave"I spoke.

"Noelani, that's not how parenting works"my mother said.

"Okay and...."

"She can love the both of y'all. Just because you don't love or like Dave doesn't mean she can't like or love Dave either"my mother sigh heavily. "Just get pass the part where he sold you to Biggy for 4 million dollars, I saved your ass...."

"And you want me to go right back to Dave with open arms"I said.

"I'm not saying that noelani. I'm saying y'all should coparent"my mom said.

"I guess"

"I told you that last night lani"Timon said.

"You said for me to go to New York with Bastet to see Dave"I said.

"Exactly. So she can see her father and for you to patch things up with Dave"Timon said. My mother nodded her head agreeing with him. I shook my head at them.

As me and my mom was eating some fries, a group of guys walked up towards us. "Wassup bitch"the guy with blonde hair said to me. "Martin lookin all over for you"

"Fuck Martin"I mumble while eating my food.

"Get up"he said. I look up at him then back at my food. "Bitch, I said get up!!!"he yelled this time.

"Noelani"my mother mumble. I gave Bastet to Timon then stood up from my seat. "Where is Martin?"

"That's nun of your business lady. We just need this bitch and that's it"the dudes with the blonde hair said.

"Mom,just take Bastet home"I said. The other man grab my arm pulling me away from the table. "Where I'm going?"I ask.

"Shut up"

I'll just wait and see.
