I woke up to the sound of things moving in the room. I hop up from the couch grabbing Bastet so I can put her to bed. I walk to her room turning on the nursery light. I laid her down in her baby bed and turn on the night light.
I walked out the room going to Noelani room just to see what she was doing. I knock on the door not hearing her voice. Maybe she's sleep or don't want me to come in. I knocked again. This time she answered.
"Yes"she mumbled.
"I put Bastet to bed for you"I said.
"Thanks. It was nice of you to do that, really. Honestly"she said looking into my eyes. Is she alright?
"You okay?"I ask her. She nodded her head with a smile. "You sure cause I know your body language"
"Dave, I was thinking about us. I really do miss you but I just can't seemed to get over what you did"Noelani said while playing with her nails. I open the door a bit more walking in. "What are you doing?"she ask.
"I want to talk"I close the room door.
"Talk about what? You said you apologize for what you did and felt stupid. Take that and leave"she said.
"Nah. I wanna talk about our future together"I said. "I know I made the most biggest mistake of my life when you was pregnant and I don't know how much I said this but I'm sooooooo sorry baby"I grab her waist crying on her stomach. I can feel her hands rubbing my face.
"It's okay Dave"she said slowly. "We all made big mistakes"I look up at her seeing tears coming from her eyes.
"You accept my apology?"I ask her.
"Yeah"she nodded her head. She pulled my head towards her lips kissing me passionately. She hugged me tightly putting her head into my neck. "God I miss this"
"I miss this too. I promised Bastet I wouldn't leave her side"I said.
"Both our sides. I need you"she look into my eyes.
"Come on, let's get some sleep"I said taking off my shirt.
"Don't flash me like that again before we make another baby"
"Let's wait till Bastet reach 5"
