Chapter Twenty-Three

Noelani

"That's her?"I ask dave who was pacing back and forth. I can tell something was on his mind. He should be angry that this bitch called Willis and told him where Dave stayed. Our baby girl would've been dead.

"Yeah, she said she's on her way"dave mumbled. He sat down on the bed next to me. "I feel guilty"he shook his head.

"About?"I ask.

"That I got y'all into this shit. I could of lost Bastet today"dave covered his face. I rubbed his back comforting him. "I'm sorry Noelani"

I didn't know what to say. I was still thinking about laying my head on Taylor. I want her dead. "It's okay"I mumbled. He nodded his head. His phone made a noise indicating that Taylor must of texted him.

"That's her. Hide in the bathroom"Dave said. I nod my head getting up from the bed. I walk to the bathroom closing the door a bit so I can peek out and see what they was gone talk about.

I waited for Taylor to walk in the room so we can squash this shit. I don't want Noelani to kill Taylor. At least scare her a bit. Everyone knows Taylor and killing her will make shit even worst.

I heard the door knob rattle and a knock on the door. I walk to the door looking in the peep hole. Taylor was looking both ways then back at the door. Why she looking both ways? I open the door staring at her outfit. It was different from earlier.

"Oh thank goddess your safe"she came in hugging me but I pushed her off me. I close the door locking it so no one won't come in. "What's wrong with you?"she narrowed her eyebrows at me.

"Where were you when them men came shooting up my house?"I ask.

"I went to go pick up the food Dave. I didn't know anything about men shooting up the house"she said.

"You didn't know? The streets didn't talk?"I ask.

".......not that I know of"she said. "Is the baby okay?"

"Our baby is fine bitch!"Noelani came out here bathroom holding the gun to Taylor. "Why the fuck you called that nigga to shoot up dave house! Knowing my baby was in that house!!!"Noelani yelled.

"Can you calm her down! I didn't do nothing!"Taylor semi yelled.

"Why Tay? You scared"I smirked. I pushed her in front of me. "Tell me Taylor, why you called Willis? Are you working for Willis?"

"I'm not working for him!"she yelled. I know she lying. She have to be lying.

"Then how the fuck the men knew where my house was Taylor!! You told them, didn't you!!"I yelled.

"Dave please you have to believe me. You said you loved me today"Taylor sniffle then cried.

"At first I did but once you put my daughter life and mines in danger, yo ass either gone be dead or beat up real bad"

"I think she should be dead"Noelani said pointing the gun at Taylor.

"Okay!!"Taylor yelled. "I'm sorry dave. I called Willis, I'm the one who did it"she cried. "I'm sorry. I just want to find the person who killed my mother"

"You dumb bitch. Ashlee is the one who killed your mother. Not Dave"Noelani said. "Willis want Dave dead so of course he came to you to help him out"

"And you did it anyways"I shook my head. "All I can think about is my baby girl and her crying"

"I'm sorry baby, I didn't mea......"Noelani hit her in the head with the gun knocking Taylor out.

"I thought you wanted to kill her?"I ask.

"I'm trying to change Dave, but I do wanna kill Willis"Noelani smiled at me.

"Let's get the fuck away from here"

I know, I know. I been gone for sometime. But tell me how y'all like this chapter cause I think it wasn't that good. Y'all wanted Taylor dead but nahhh, I think she can still be in the story for a while.
