When Diana got to join the Avengers she thought it would be an easy way to grab Steve's attention.
However that was what she was thinking in the beggining. As time went on she noticed how different the Captain she had a crush on was from the person she got to talk to in person.
So one day she got up with a new beat in her step and decided to give up in trying too hard to get him to like her. Which is how she ended up with a cup of coffee in her hand while readiing the latest fashion blogs on her laptop in the living room just as Steve came in from the elevator
Steve: *notices Diana right after he walked out of that elevator* Diana, there you are. *says walking over*
Diana: Morning to you too Captain *says as she keeps reading and drinking from her cup*
Steve: mostly i'm the one who's up first. *says with a smile*
Diana looks up and smiles softly at him before motioning to the table where a second cup of coffee was ready for anyone needing a morning boost
Steve: just the thing i need to wake up. Thank you Diana. *says walking over to the table and takes the cup coffee*
Diana: No problem Cap *says as she searches for a dress she dreamed of buying*
Steve: searching for new cloths to buy? *asks curious sitting down beside her*
Diana: Sort of. I was invited to a wedding and I'm searching for an evening dress
Steve: aha a wedding huh. So who's the lucky bride and groom? *says taken a sip of the coffee*
Diana: My cousin and her boyfriend of 8 years
Steve: well lucky them, your looking forward to it then?
Diana: As long as none of them decides to hook me up with someone I will be fine with it
Steve: this maybe weird of me to ask but do you want company? I know i'm not invited but still...
Diana: I don't see why not. I was told I would bring whoever I want with me
Steve: that's great to know...is that a yes then?
Diana: Of course *says with a smile as she finally looks up at him*
Steve: *grins* that's great...wait i'm gonna need to find a suit to wear. *says more to himself then Diana*
Around that time Sam and Bucky also walk in the room just as Diana closed her laptop and reached for the remote control to turn the TV on
Sam and Bucky: Morning Steve and Diana.
Steve: Morning Sam and Bucky. *says taken another sip*
Diana: Morning boys *says as she finished her drink and searhces for something to watch on the TV
Sam: so whats up?
Bucky: Steve, shouldn't you be making breakfast for us? *teases and jokes*
Steve: *rolls his eyes* aren't you old enough to do it yourself? *teases and jokes back*
Sam: Oh...*smiles*
this time its Bucky turn to roll his eyes as he heads to the kitchen to make him and Sam some breakfast.
Bucky: anyone else want something? *asks directing the question at Diana and Steve*
Steve: Nope, i'm good. Coffee is all i need right now.
Diana: I already ate. Thank you Bucky
Bucky: no problem. *says as he gets started on it*
Tony also comes еnters the room shortly after that with Natasha, Clint and Thor followed shortly by Bruce and Wanda
Tony: morning people.
Clint: i smell food. *starts to smile wide*
Wanda: is that the first thing that comes out of your mouth in the morning?
Natasha: its Clint, what did you expect.
