Ember

Chapter 7:

(Ember PoV)

It had been about 3 months since Jordan tried to imprison me, he tried to spew bullshit to the others acting like it was my fault, but Six quickly dismissed that. Jordan had pretty much dug himself deeper. Eliza won't speak to him, and everyone refuses to help him train the recruits.

"Can Operators Ash, Ember, Dokkaebi, Doc and Finka report to the meeting room ASAP, I repeat, Ash, Ember, Dokkaebi, Doc and Finka to the meeting room NOW."

She sounded worried. We rushed towards the meeting room and she looked extremely angry and scared, which shook the room but me. "What seems to be the problem Six?" I was the first to speak, "The White Masks have evolved the Infection virus and no cure is working on it, and then they released it into Truth and Consequences again, but this time it had taken over Mexico, Entirely." We all looked shocked. "The UN have managed to stop the spread but are running out of options, I hate to say it but if we don't sort this out they are going for the Nuclear Option, I need you all in there right now and sort this mess out. you have a month to sort it out before the UN start Evacing their soldiers out and Nuking Mexico. Dismissed, Grace I will send all files to your tablet." We rushed to grab our stuff and hopped onto the Helicopter, Marius was already there setting the Helicopter up.

"Come on, we need to leave now." Eliza said, "I'm really missing something, what is this Virus?" I asked, Grace showed me some pictures and they instantly reminded me of my squad, "My squad turned into them when we were tortured." I said, "these fucking White masks are about to pay." I said, we rushed over to Mexico.

Once we arrived, we saw the UN fighting off an attack, we quickly moved in and took them out before the UN Soldiers got overran. "Thanks for the assist Rainbow." One of them said, "Operator ash, if you will please follow me to the Command Tent." She followed him. "Gustave, go find the medical tent and try to find a cure." I said, he nodded and walked off.

"What do we do?" Finka asked, "Follow Eliza." I said as we walked over to the command tent.

"-Worst its ever been, the attacks don't stop." The commander said as we walked in. "Do we know of a possible cure?" Eliza asked, "I don't know, none of us know." The commander said, "Well, we have a month to find a cure, lets get at it ya." Marius said.

We all nodded and sorted out a first mission. We were saving some civilians stuck in a hospital, this hospital started a cure, but was quickly stopped when the infection got too far, so we head there and grab what we can to help this onslaught. Mission two was to scout a hive and blow it to smithereens. Should be easy enough. Mission 3 is to attack another hive and free some government officials stuck in a bunker. We will need back up so Ash has called Tachanka, Kapkan, Buck, Blackbeard, Mira, all three Bosaks and Osiris.

We went to sleep after they arrived, to get ready for the missions tomorrow.

All missions were going at the same time, Mission 1 team consisted of Tachanka, Kapkan and Buck. Mission 2 team was Me, Ash, Ela, Dokkaebi and Zofia. Mission 3 team Was Blackbeard, Mira, Osiris and Reaper.
