Hierra's POV

"Do I still have something left in my schedule?" I asked Anne while scanning the last proposal I have received.

"Besides on going to the board meeting at 5:00pm, nothing else, Ms. Azure." I looked at my watch and it's already 4:55pm.

"Ms. Azure. We've found out who stole the money."

"Who?" I asked her. Ibinigay niya sa akin ang isang folder. Binuksan ko ito at nakita ang ilang picture ng staff na nagpapatunay na siya ang kumuha sa pera.

Nang makita ko iyon ay napabuntong hininga ako at inilapag iyon sa table ko.

Inilapag ko na rin ang proposal na tintingnan ko sa parteng "Declined" at saka tumayo. Humarap ako sa salamin at tiningnan kung maayos pa ba ang suot ko.

"Let's go." Tumango siya at saka binuksan ang pinto. Nagsimula akong maglakad at saka nagtungo sa susunod na ibabang floor.

Pinagbuksan ako ng isang guard nang makarating ako sa meeting room. It's really weird that there are a lot of guards here.

Pagkapasok ko ay nagsitayuhan ang board members at saka ako binati. Tumango na lamang ako at saka umupo sa pinakadulo at gitnang upuan.

"Shall we start?" I asked them. One of the member, the head of marketing committee, stood up and went infront.

An image flashed in front of us. Umangat agad ang kilay ko.

"Since we're aming for higher income this month, we thought of releasing a car with new model and variants."

"Do you have the sketch or a picture of the car?" The Vice President asked him. Why do I rarely see this Vice President?

"Yes, we've already designed it." A design of a car infront of me flashed.

"Car? Are you sure?" I asked him and all of them looked at me.

"Yes, Ms. Azure."

"The design of the car is very nice, Mr. Gomez. But are you sure that a lot of people will buy the car? In fact, it will take so much time before we can fix the actual car. Our target is for this month only. Focus on that first. We won't move on until we gain the 30 million."

"Should I think of different idea, Ms. Azure?"

"What do you think?" Walang ganang tanong ko sa kanya. He nodded.

"You can keep this idea, Mr. Gomez. Present it again when we need a new idea for a car. But for now, let's focus on something that is affordable."

"Yes, Ms. Azure."

"So, who stole the 30 million? Have you found out?" Umiling silang lahat. Napailing nalang din ako.

"Should I just fire all of you?" I asked them with a dangerous tone.  Agad na nagkaroon ng violent reaction sa buong kwarto.

"That's against the rules of the company, Ms. Azure. You should have a valid reason to fire your employee." The Vice President answered. I looked at him.

"Mr. Vice President. You know what? I rarely see you when I need you. A valid reason to fire you? Irresponsibility." Natahimik siya sa sinabi ko. Kaya lang naman siya ang Vice President dahil iyon ang sinabi ni Kuya Vryl sa akin. He pulled some strings and became the Vice President of my company.

"Ms. Azure. Please think about this again." Sabi ni Anne na nasa gilid ko. No wonder, pati siya ay maaaring madamay sa pagkawala ng 30 million.
