Hierra's POV

Nagmamaneho ngayon si Lexus patungo sa isang restaurant.

Fvck. What is he thinking?

"Since I kissed you, and you kissed me back. It's right that I should date you." Napatingin ako sa kanya. How can he talk about that without feeling awkward?! And what? Date me? Is he for real?

Nang makarating kami sa restaurant ay pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto. Then, he opened the door at the back seat and grabbed something.

Bouquet?

"For you." He lent me the bouquet before smiling. What? Why didn't I notice the flowers?

Tinanggap ko ang bulaklak at saka niya ako iginaya papasok sa restaurant.

Well, dating is better. Kesa naman sa naghalikan kami pero wala kaming label.

Napailing ako sa naisip ko.

"Tayo lang ang tao dito?" I asked Lexus nang makitang walang ka-tao-tao sa restaurant. Wala ni isang customer bukod sa amin.

"I closed this restaurant for us."

"Wait. Don't tell me you own this restaurant?"

"I own this restaurant, Hierra. So come, and sit down." Lumapit ako sa hinila niyang upuan at saka ako umupo. Pagkatapos ay umupo siya sa harapan ko. Inilapag ko ang bouquet sa gilid ng table.

"Can you just sit beside me?" I asked him. I'm just worrying. Baka mangyari ulit ang nangyari kaninang umaga.

"Why?"

"Just because." I said and he chuckled. This guy. He laughs and smiles a lot when he's with me. Pero kapag sila Aldrex ang kasama niya ay wala akong makitang expression sa mukha niya.

Dumating ang ilang pagkain at saka iyon inilapag ng waiter sa table.

"Let's eat?" Tumango ako at saka kami nagsimulang kumain.

"Hindi mo pa sinasagot ang tanong ko kahapon." Napatingin ako sa kanya at napaisip.

"Why are you acting that way?"

"We're good already, hindi ba pwedeng 'wag mo nang isipin 'yan?" I asked him.

"Nope. You don't know how many nights have I been awake thinking if I did something wrong."

"I'm just... scared." Natigilan siya sa pagkain at tumingin sa akin.

"Scared?"

"Yes."

"That it might happen again?"

"No." Sinalubong ko ang tingin niya.

"You're a... Mafia Boss, aren't you?" Nakita ko kung paano siya nagulat. Napamaang siya ay napaiwas ng tingin.

"It's not my intention to know about you. You see, I hired a private investigator because my brother is acting strange. And then, the private investigator found out that Kuya is linked to a Mafia group. He sent me a document and I saw you all. Half of your face is covered but I can tell right away that it's you. I felt scared and betrayed. Why did you keep this from me?"

"H-Hierra." Nauutal na tawag niya sa pangalan ko. Tumulo ang isang butil ng luha mula sa mata ko.

"And, I've thought about it for the past few weeks. And I felt embarassed. Because y'all are protecting me and yet, I ignored you."
