Good thing I have brought mom here. The medical practices here are more advance than in Philippines. Kung hindi man masisiguradong mapagaling si mommy dito inassure naman sa amin ng doctor na mapoprolong ang buhay ni mom just in case.
Pinagbili namin ang bahay sa Australia kaya nakalipat kami dito sa US. We had to spend a lot for Mom's therapy. After makulong ni Dad nothing was left to us. Ang hospital ay napunta kay Tito Jibreel at ang university naman kay Jayden. I don't want to take anything from them. Nahihiya ako sa kanila lalo na at Dad did something bad against them.
Lahat ng accounts ni Dad declined. Probably he spend all his money discovering that damn formula. Hindi niya ba naisip na while finding the cure he might lose the chance to cure mom. Why do he even believe that it would cure mom?
Paalis na ako ng bahay. I have to go to the hospital. Pero bago pa man ako makaalis narinig ko ang boses ni Seb.
"My business is not a joke Mikaela! That woman is a freak! May sekretarya nga ako pero parang ako pa rin naman ang gagawa ng mga bagay na siya dapat ang gumawa," rinig kong sigaw ni Seb.
Mukhang kakarating lang nila. Since he has business meeting here dinaanan niya na lang din si Mika. I told her already to just stay in Philippines but she keeps on insisting to stay here with me and mom.
"She can learn naman. I know Jezeal," mukhang nagkakasagutan ang dalawa.
"Learn? That woman even demanded a leave when she just have started working with me. I'll fire that woman and I'll just find a new secretary. Don't ever dare to stop me," sabi pa ni Seb.
He's probably pissed off. Mukhang kailangan kong kausapin ang dalawa. Baka kung saan pa mapunta ang away nila. Knowing Mika she can't get hold of her temper.
"Then start finding a new girlfriend. I'm done with this relationship!"
Napapikit na lang ako sa sinabi ni Mika. She really can't hold her temper. Buti na lang at nakalapit ako agad.
"That's enough. Ano bang pinag-aawayan niyo?" tanong ko sa kanila.
"Fine! Let's quit then," sabi ni Seb bago lumabas ng bahay.
Nasapo ko ang ulo sa sobrang frustrated sa dalawang 'to. I don't understand why they have to mention break up when they are fighting. Ilang sandali lang Mika started to cry.
Tsk.
I hate seeing her crying.
Lumapit ako sa kanya at niyakap siya. Mika might be a tough girl but inside she's too frail. Seb was only man she dated. She was too attach with Seb.
"Why c-can't I be happy K-kuya? Why does it f-feel like I was born to be s-sad?" humihikbing sabi niya.
"Shhh... You have me. You have mom. It's not that you are born to be sad. You just chose not to be happy. You are Chanel Mikaela remember? You are the most happiest Galvan," nangiting sabi ko sa kanya.
Kumalas siya sa yakap ko at tinignan ako.
"How can you s-smile like that when you were l-left by the woman you e-ever l-loved?" natigilan ako sa tinanong niya. "We told you to be happy Kuya not to pretend happy. You know why I was s-scared to be with Seb Kuya? I have this t-thought that even how strong you and Celine was there will still be one of you to give up during your fight."
Hindi ako makaimik hanggang sa makapasok siya sa loob ng kwarto niya. Napahilamos ako sa nangyari. What she said make sense. But Celine and I were different. Our situation is different.
