She woke up in confusion. She didn't exactly remember what happened after she passed out by the herb. Slowly, Serena saw Michell in front of her. "What have you done!" yelled Serena as she realised her hands were tied up against the chair. She remembered Jack coming by. "What did you do to him! Where is he!"

"Serena, Serena. Even now you are showing weakness for that human. It is something we cannot tolerate, sister."

"Well, sister. Do I need to tell Natalie about your weaknesses! Hmm? The one in France. The one in Spain. Italy. England. Should I continue you reminding you of your endless list of weaknesses?"

"There is a difference between you and me, Serena. I wouldn't let anyone stand between us and these vermin we call humans. I would kill every single man on earth without any hesitation, unlike you. You, Serena, have no idea what loyalty is."

"Unlike me? You spared that-" Michell slapped Serena with her fist. The diamond ring Michell was wearing hit her hard. It left a scratch on her left cheek. "Bitch," she said quietly.

"We would never speak about that again, dearest. Besides that, he is definitely dead now. Unless 'vampires' are an actual thing, Ser." She paused. "Awh, remember that one incident? We had so much more when you were a blood drunk whore. We would laugh. Drink. Have fun. And do it all over again." Michell moved her hips around. She was lost in the moment.

Serena laughed at her. "I am sorry. Am I a blood drunk whore? Says the madam of bloody men! Trust me on this, you will regret this moment, Michell!"

"Oh, Serena. You know we all must listen to Her Royal Highness, Natalie, and do whatever she pleases. I can't disobey anything when she has given me strict orders to keep you here today. At least Nat doesn't have to see your pathetic behaviour while she is clearing up the mess you made. Again."

"My mess? What could I have possibly done now, Michell?" asked Serena angry. Michell ignored her question. She tried to get herself out of the ties but her strength hadn't come back yet.

"Don't bother trying, Serena. I made sure the seaweed is far from out of your system. That is what you get for being a traitor." Michell smiled. "Time to go to school and see how dear Jackson Smith is doing. I wonder if he missed a real woman like me." She saw Serena's expression. She looked kind of relieved yet she failed hiding it from Michell. "You can stop being a terrible actress. Your human toy is still alive. For now. Natalie wanted him to be pure for her plans." Michell closed the door and left.

"Michell!" Serena tried to move the chair. She had to find Jackson. Natalie couldn't be trusted nor could Michell. "Michell! You can't leave me here!" she shouted again. "Michell!"

-

"Nat, I am coming your way. - No, she is too weak to do anything. - Don't you ever trust me on anything! - Fine. Have it your way... - I said nothing!" She hung up being irritated by Natalie. It hurt her that even now when Serena betrayed them, Natalie couldn't just trust her loyal sister. Michell was completely upset and angry. The worst combination for a Siren like her.

"Michell?" said Nathaniel Royce. He saw she wasn't being herself. "Do you need a ride?" He couldn't resist her appearance and bit his underlip as soon he saw how short Michell's dress was. "Like really, it is fine."

She noticed his desperate breathing. "Actually yes, I am in the need of your helping hand." She pushed him against his black car. He looked shocked. "Are you scared of me, Nathaniel?"
