momo's point of view
it was really shocking to hear mina's confession, but i'm happy for her. because chaeyoung likes her too, i can feel it.
she walks away everytime i'm with mina, she clenches her fists everytime she hears me saying sweet things to mina, she looks away everytime i'm being clingy to mina. i know it all, she's such a coward for sacrificing her feelings, but i appreciate her cowardice.
"you should tell her." i suggested, no, it's more like an order, she should really tell her before it's too late, who knows that the smol bean might fall for her ex again?
"i don't know, it's just so complicated. i don't wanna complicate things even more." i sighed as i open my arms for an embrace, and she gladly hugged me.
i was about to say things that might comfort her but i was stopped when i saw chaeyoung entering the café and flirting with none other than her ex, what is yeri doing here?
"thank you, momoring. i'm glad i met you." mina was about to pull out from the hug but i quickly held her back,
"n-no, just hug me until you feel better." it was so awkward for me, trying my best for her not to see chaeyoung flirting with her ex.
that tiger is really something, she's still a baby, so immature and childish.
"uh, i-i'm actually good now. it's oka-"
"no, you're not!" i defensively said, just a little bit longer mina, i can see that they're leaving.
"momo-"
"just hug me, okay?"
"yah!-"
"quiet, it'll be over soon."
"i reall-"
"i'm helping you, okay?" she was forcing herself to pull out from the hug but when i saw chaeyoung and yeri walking out from the café with their take out's, i quickly let her go.
"yah! what was that?!" i was shocked from mina's sudden outburst, oh uh, did i do something wrong? she looked like she was in a hurry or something.
"why'd you hug me like that? i need to go to the bathroom for fuck's sake!" i was caught off guard from what she said and burst out laughing, that's why she's so forcing herself a while ago. this is so funny, i can't.
"ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ" i was laughing my ass out because i still can't get over it and she just rolled her eyes at me as she hurriedly went to the toilet. oh my god, that was so awkward and funny.
mina's point of view
momo was so fucking weird! she looked so annoying and funny at the same time, but i'm glad she helped, a lot. she always helps me forget about my problems for a while, that's why i love her, as a friend.
actually no, more than that,
as a bestfriend.
"yah! why are you such in a hurry? i just washed my face."
"you were taking too long, dumb."
it's chaeyoung.
of all people, why her?
"oh, hey." i tried to start a conversation but it only became awkward.
"hey." and then she walked away.
"what was that?" yeri looked at me with an apologetic smile and walked away too. i made my way towards them and only saw them leaving the café, with somi behind. my heart is beating erratically, and it feels heavy.
i'm not jealous, am i?
i heaved a deep sigh and walked towards momo with a defeated look, i'm guessing she saw them too.
"i wanna go home. please take me home, already." momo nodded and she held my hands before we walked out the café.
but before we took a cab, she gave me a note,
meet me tomorrow at 10am, here in the café, there's something i need to tell you.
