EVA paid the taxi driver a hefty sum as the three of them arrived at a local supermarket far out from the city. Around the supermarket were some dingy houses and a motel that looked straight out of a murder movie, Eva was pretty sure Norman Bates would pop out and stab her in the back. 'This look like something out of my nightmares.' Cameron commented as he stared at the motel.

Motel Jade: Your destination across the nation.

'It's really cliche of some horror movie isn't it?' Eva said walking up to the clerk at the motel. Garfield laughed and murmured something under his breath about he should have killed himself long ago.

'Welcome to Hotel Jade.' A blond haired woman at the check in desk said her face an usual pale. 'Hi.' Eva said trying to keep her face straight. This place was just giving her the chills. 'Would you like a room Ma'm?'
'Yes that would be great.' Eva replied as she held tightly to Cameron's hand.

'Room 204. Up the stairs and to the left.' The woman replied as she gave them the keys. 'Have a good night Ma'm'

'Well that was creepy wasn't it?' Eva said the neck on her hair standing. 'I don't really care for scary stuff, I'm more worried on wear I'm going to sleep.' Garfield said. 'You can sleep on the bathtub Mr. Veterinarian/Doctor.' Cameron replied putting as much sarcasm into as he could.

'Blegh..' Garfield replied cooly, sticking out his tongue. 'Loser.' Cameron said rolling his eyes.

'Just get in the room.' Eva said having enough of their bickering. Eva swung opened the door to room 204 and screamed. A scream so high pitch it would have been able to break wine glasses if there were any around. Eva flicked her palms out as she screamed and all the objects in the room, the bed, the lamps, the dressers, all were encased in translucent film and lifted up into the air. Following the movements of her wrists.

The furniture flew across the room and she slammed the door shut without touching it. Eva collapsed on the floor shivering. 'Eva!!!' Cameron yelled as she fell. He grabbed her in his arms and gently massaged her head. 'What was that??' Garfield asked in shock. 'I have no idea Dr. I have no idea.'

EVERITT woke up to the sound of his mother singing. A woeful song about the end of summer and the coming off winter and how the plants were dying and the birds had stopped singing. 'Mum?' He asked, his voice cracking.

'Sunshine! You're up! Finally!' His mother ran towards him, her red hair and pointed glasses bouncing as she came. 'Baby.' She said and grabbed him in her arms. 'Why did you stop taking your medicine!' She yelled, suddenly broken form her loving demeanor. She slapped across the face and then proceeded to hug him. 'Everitt. You could have killed that girl. You're lucky she's a fighter. That girl, she's a keeper.'

'We're not together Mum.' He said sounding annoyed. 'Well, you better get her soon.' She said smiling at the thought of her son getting a girlfriend. 'Well, how's your nose feeling?' She asked looking as his swollen nose. 'Hurting. Like hell.'
'Good! that's what you get.'

'Anyway. You need to go visit that girl. She's on the third floor. Room 7003.'

'Yeah. I will. Just give me some time to rest.'

'Yup. Just take your time darling.'
