KELÈ awoke to the sound of an insistent alarm blaring next to her ear. "What the heck is that?!" Kelè asked openly to the huge crowd, consisting of zero people in her room. She pushed her legs of the edge of her satin duvet covered bed and slipped her feet into comfy white bunny slippers. She did this while shouting at the top of her lungs for Lydia to wake up. Looking at the time, Kelè could tell that it was 10am.

She guessed the alarm meant that they had better start making their way to the Alpha Course.

It felt peculiar to Kelè, how she had been a receiver her whole life but had never gotten any help from Terry and this council of Receivers, let alone any training on how to control her powers. Her Father had given her no help whatsoever and she only found out that they were receivers when he had passed away, and her mother had revealed his cause of death.

She recalled her mother telling her that there were two ways Receivers developed powers, the first being natural gene mutation during an individual's life or secondly; through the bloodline. Obviously in Kelè and Lydia's case it was passed on from generation to generation.

When Kelè had given birth to Lydia she had prayed and hoped on all her lucky stars that Lydia wouldn't develop any gifts and hopefully have a chance at a normal life. Evidently, this wasn't the case.

"MUMMMMMMMMMM!" Kelè heard her daughter yell from the living room for her to be quick so that they could be on time for their Alpha Course. Whatever it was...

EVA and Cameron suddenly felt themselves being dragged into a vortex and reappearing outside a humongous building. Eva knew this place. Or she thought she knew this place, it looked so familiar but at the same time she couldn't recognize it. Besides Cameron stood an Asian girl with pink hair in a Dutch braid. "My name's Bunny." She smiled cheekily and opened her arms to let them walk in.

A huge sign read, "West-Chester Building" and suddenly Eva felt herself fall into a black-out. Her mind flashed with snippets of herself running through a corridor in the building, she saw her small self summon a huge forcefield that sheltered her like an inverse umbrella as bricks fell from the ceiling in what looked like a training arena. Eva had been here before. She didn't know when or how, but she had.

"Eva??" She felt herself come out of the flashback and saw that Cameron had his muscular arms wrapped around her waist to stop her from falling. "I'm fine. It was nothing." 

What happened to Garfield and the teleportation/Invisbility guy?? She thought to herself. She had no idea what was going on but she followed Bunny into the building as she led them into a huge training arena.

LYDIA felt her jaw drop as she and Kelè made their way into the Alpha Course training area. As you would expect, it was humongous and and fully equipped with a swimming pool, virtual reality nature scenes and tons of other high tech stuff. In the training area, there were 11 people including Lydia and Kelè.

"Welcome to Alpha Course!" Terry smiled and motioned for them to come closer to the group, which consisted of all the familiar faces: Penn, Carson, Joe, Bayley , Isla, Gracie and Terry. In the corner of to the side, Lydia noticed two new faces. An attractive couple, consisting of a devastatingly attractive brown haired and blue-eyed teenage boy holding hand with an equally beautiful teenage girl with lush sunflower blonde hair. Lydia instantly felt jealous.

"Today we would like to welcome four new Receivers into our Alpha Course training program. As it is very apparent, we are about to go into a war with the Rebels and it seems that it is in fact inevitable. We have no choice but to train ourself and prepare ourself for the coming battle. " Terry said with vigor.

"First we would like to welcome the mother daughter duo from South Africa, Kelè and Lydia. And next our very own homebred Californian's Cameron and Eva." A small round of applause began and died down instantly when Terry flashed a stare. "The training course consists of three workouts. The first being a simple competition. We like to call this 'Capture The Flag'. In the middle of the arena there is a flag that the team must try to safely bring back to their base whilst our trained Receivers...." He motions towards everyone but Lydia, Kelè, Cameron and Eva. "...Will try and stop you. We aren't holding back and neither should you. The game begins now!"
