EVA just couldn't believe what had happened. It was just scary. Plain scary.
Eva couldn't explain but the minute she had walked into this room, it was as though something had possessed her. Of course that was not possible. Not POSSIBLE. Her mind wandered and she felt her heart pounding. How could she judge? For all she knew ghosts could be real too. Or maybe it was someone, of one those Receivers. The real ones. Not ones like Eva and Cameron.
Eva stood at the bedside and continued contemplating about her strange predicament. It was honestly not funny to Eva anymore. She grabbed her blond hair and tied it in a ponytail and stomped out of the hotel room. "Whoever you are or whatever you are! Get out!!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
THUD! The cabinet in the room toppled over and slammed into Cameron. Cameron crippled under the weight and fainted. "I said GET OUT!!!" She screamed again. "Eva.." Garfield said slowly trying to come her down. This thing. Whatever it was, wasn't happy about Eva screaming at it. "Get out! Get out! Get OUUUUTTTT!!" She yelled. Her throat turning sore.
A cold sweat built up on her forehead and the hair on her neck starting standing. "Boo." A voice whispered into her ear and she screamed. She spun behind and extended her palms out and the a wall of force appeared. "Hahahahahahahah!!!" A guy's voice laughed and a boy about 17 years old appeared.
Eva swiped her hand sideways and a invisible fist sucker punched him. "Oof!" His breath escaped his mouth and suddenly he disappeared. Suddenly Eva's hair was pulled back strongly and she screamed as she was pulled back onto the ground. Something hit her hard in the stomach again and again.
He reappeared a look of anger upon his face. "Stupid Girl." Eva laid on the ground trying to catch her breath. Finally she mustered the strength and she pushed herself of the ground. Whoosh! The boy flew across the room and slammed into a wall. Eva summoned her force field and pushed him against the wall. Pushing with all her might, crushing him.
"Sss-stop..." He weeped as she crushed him. His bones were starting to crack under the pressure. Just as he was about to become a huge stain on the wall. Cameron managed to stop her.
It was awfully scary the look on Eva's face. Cameron had never seen his girlfriend ever so angry. It was like something had taken over her. Her eyes were different. They were evil. "Baby, are you okay?" He asked, feeling worried. "Yeah." She replied brushing him off.
Cameron decided to talk to her later and moved onto the boy. "Who are you?" He asked feeling weary. He was definitely a Receiver. That power was scary. He seemed to disappear and also somehow managed to control Eva. Unless that was a different person. That meant he had back-up.
The boy was tied up against the bed post with some rope Cameron found inside the room. Why was it there? God know why.... The boy had crop cut blond hair and was thin and long like a scarecrow. "I asked you a question!" Cameron yelled getting irritated. His long face reminded him off a horse and in his head he started laughing.
The boy smiled at him. "Beauregard. The pleasure is all mine." He smiled. "Well, I'm Cameron, and this Eva and Garfield." Cameron said, trying to be nice. He didn't want this guy getting the better of him. "So.... Beauregard. Can I call you Beau? You know what I'll call you Beau." Cameron continued not waiting for an answer. "What was that? All that disappearing and pulling my girlfriend's hair?"
Beauregard smiled a gleeful smile and winked at Eva who was eyeing him. "Oh? That? It's just what we call transpontine."
"Transpontine?" Cameron quizzed.
"Yes..." He smiled, "I can do this..." Beauregard suddenly disappeared. He reappeared behind Cameron. "I can turn invisible." He disappeared again and reappeared near Eva. Eva's hair suddenly twisting and an invisible hand pulled her to the ground. "Oops" He said as he became visible."Beau! Please stop that! We're all receivers here!" Cameron shouted as he turned his skin hard. Readying himself for a fight. "We are? What about this Rebel scum here." He gestures comedically towards Garfield. Garfield stares at him a scowl growing across his face. "I'm no scum you inbred child." Garfield says with as much hatred as he can muster. THUD! Eva suddenly raises her hands and Cameron sees Beau fly across the room once again. "You idiot." Eva says, her eyes blue eyes glistening in dim light of the motel room. Eva's face turns cold with a devil like hatred. Cameron had never seen her like this.
Eva pushed her forcefield against him. Cameron ran towards her to stop her from killing their new found Receiver and to his surprise he found himself rooted to the ground. Eva's other hand was now outstretched at him and his legs were firmly planted to the ground, a translucent film surrounding his feet. Garfield looking worried, reached for his shotgun he picked up from one the Rebels during the fight. "Eva. I'm warning you. You cannot kill this Receiver. The Receivers are greatly outnumbered and Beau is one of the only helpful ones. I know this. The Rebels have thousands of new recruits. Just itching at the opportunity to kill all of you."
Garfield says. Despite his dislike towards Beau, his hatred towards the Rebels was growing by every second. They betrayed him. "Eva listen please...." BOOM! The shotgun fired at Eva and Garfield shouted in horror. His hands weren't able to move. It was like they had a mind their own. His hands fired. But his mind didn't tell them to.
