LYDIA was still feeling dazed and confused when she realized she was literally lying on top of the boy with teleportation powers who had saved her mother and her from the Rebels just earlier in the week.

Looking down, Penn grinned sheepishly, as though having mixed feelings about successfully stopping Lydia from reaching the flag. Looking closer, Lydia noticed a slight reddish tint on his cheeks, and she couldn't help but blush herself thinking that Penn had any sort of feelings toward her.

Brushing aside her stark white hair that had fallen from her ponytail, Lydia blinked her grey eyes lovingly, and Penn began to blush even brighter. Good. He's distracted. She thought to himself, and before he could even process what was about to happen, Lydia reeled her head back and head butted him straight in the middle of his eyes. His head snapped back and hit the concrete floor of the training arena, instantly knocking him out. "Sorry!" She yelled, and climbed off and continued running toward the center, hoping that he wouldn't hold a grudge for what she did. Looking up, the flag was only about 70 meters away now, and the coast looked clear. Ive got this. She thought to herself, as she continued running. Swooping in, Lydia grabbed the flag pole and pulled up, and the flag slid smoothly out of the hole it was put in. "YES!" She exclaimed, unable to control herself. But of course the battle was only half over. Catching her breath for just a moment, Lydia dug her heels into the ground and continued running toward the Trained Receivers home ground.

BAYLEY couldn't help but smile gleefully looking at the dark-haired boy retching in front of him.

Bayley didn't like to think of himself as a masochist, but he had often found himself finding pleasure in other people's pain. It wasn't rooted in sadism, he often reasoned with himself, but rather in an admiration of his own abilities. Discovering his powers, was one of the best , or even the best, thing that had happened to him.

Getting caught up in the show before him, Bayley's mind drifted to the first person who was (un)lucky enough to taste his wrath. His Father. He was a nasty man, to put it simply. A drunked, a degenerate, and a sorry excuse for a Father. He had often taken it upon himself to deal harsh punishments upon Bayley 's mother and younger sister, Bianca. Just short of outright beating them senseless, Mr White tormented them every time he opened a bottle of Whiskey, and one day it was all too much. After locking Bayley 's sister Bianca in a closet, and cornering Mrs White, face flushed and hands raised. Bayley snapped and before he could even process what he was doing, his Father was on the ground, writhing and squirming in pain, clutching at his chest. Mrs White horrified, opened his work shirt to reveal a deep dark purple stain spreading across Mr White's chest. Before he knew it, his Father, was motionless, still as an untouched lake. Hands flopping to his side and eyes rolling into the back of his head. Mr White suffered a heart attack, unable to deal with the copious amount of poison found in his system. While, his mother and sister were horrified, Bayley couldn't help but feel that it was for the better.

In the midst of his flashback, Bayley hadn't noticed that his grip on the handsome brown-haired boy had begun to loosen. While still feeling completely and utterly nauseous, Cameron mustered all the strength he could and feeling his right arm tense up, Cameron knew that this time his punch wasn't going to just go through Bayley.

The sound of Cameron's practically metal-dense fist, slamming into Bayley 's face, was sickening and satisfying to anyone who had a vendetta against Bayley . As the older boy fell to the ground in a heap, Cameron too felt his own consciousness begin to slip as he slowly collapsed on the floor.

GRACIE tried to remain still and quiet as she hid behind a wall near the end zone of the Trained Receivers Zone. While the rest of the Trained Receivers or Soldiers, as Terry called them, were out engaging in full on battle with the New Receivers, Gracie's job was a little different, but definitely the most important.

No one had told Gracie to take this approach to the game, but she knew it was one that would definitely catch them off guard. Crouching behind the wall, and hearing the battle, Gracie closed her eyes and thought: Aura. Reopening them, Gracie could sense and feel the Auras of all the receivers in the Training Arena. Even though she couldn't actually see any of them, Gracie was able to trace their movements, and when one of them was knocked out,  Gracie could feel it too.

Concentrating, Gracie could tell that Penn, Carson, Isla and Bayley were out of the game, therefore leaving just Joe and herself on the Soldiers team. The new boy who had joined today, had a metallic colored aura, and he too was out of the game. Gracie scanned the arena and found Joe, the right side of his body glowed like a fire while his left side had a pale blue tint. She could tell that he was fighting two people, the older woman with the dark brown aura and a younger girl whose aura was purple. She wanted to help, but Gracie could sense that the Aura of the other girl, the one with the stark white hair and pale skin. Her bright white aura was sprinting towards the end zone of the Soldiers team, and judging from her speed she undoubtedly had the flag.

Gracie reached down and grab the Bo Staff that was lying on the ground to her right. It was her time to join the fight. As she focused all her concentration on Lydia's aura, she could sense her growing closer and closer until she was just behind the wall. Just as Lydia was about to sprint pass, Gracia stuck out the Bo Staff at her feet, successfully tripping her. Lydia went flying, landing face first on the floor a few feet in front. The flag flying out of her hand and landing somewhere to her right. Yes ! Gracie jumped up to her feet and ran toward the flag, quickly grabbing it and running in the other direction, towards the end zone of the New Receivers. She'd done it.

EVA and Kelè were having a difficult time dealing with Joe. His powers were both immensely cool and immensely terrifying to deal with.

Eva was practically rendered helpless behind her forcefield as Joe's right hand spewed columns of red flames at her. The heat was so intense, that Eva's shirt was beginning to soak up in her sweat and she could practically see nothing behind the orange and red flames.

Kelè meanwhile, had somewhat managed to regain her hearing and was trying to deal with Joe's left hand, which was delivering a deadly icy torrent at her, but no matter how many times she tried to summon for help, Joe managed to simply impale her aid with a stalactite. Kelè too was beginning to grow tired, as the cold that surrounded her began to wear her out.

As Eva tried to come up with a plan, she suddenly noticed a reddish blur in the corner of her eye toward her left. Turning slightly to look, she saw a small girl, about 11 years old, sprinting toward the New Receivers end zone with the red flag. Shit ! Eva tried to shoot a forcefield ball towards her, but pulling her attention away from the forcefield protecting her from the intense flames in front, caused her to be thrown backwards, as her forcefield con-caved in. Landing on her back, she watched as the columns of flames spewed down on her, and just as the flames were going to engulf her she managed to create a last minute to shield to save herself. Eva was now completely helpless, lying on her back, hands extended just in front of her face, as Joe's fire rained down and engulfed her entire forcefield.

GRACIE exclaimed ecstatically as she sprinted past the demarcated line into the end zone of the New Receivers team and the horn indicating the end of the game sounded loudly "HOONKKKKKK"

Turning to look back at the arena, Gracia saw Joe close his fits as the flames that were spewing down on the blonde girl died out and the icy stalactites that had encased Kelè in a icy prison melted into harmless water.

Terry walked out from a door on the left side on the arena, near the entrance and began clapping dramatically, as medics ran in behind him to deal with the casualties of the match. "Well done !" He said loudly, as though to congratulate everyone on the match, but in reality he was only looking at Gracie. As he walked past Joe, he give him a little shake and quickly said something into his ear which Gracie could not hear, and then proceeded to help check on Kelè and Eva.

"We'll give everyone some time to recover and recuperate and when everyone's awake and well, we'll have our first meeting to discuss the battle and things that we can improve on. Gracie girl, follow me." He said, as he motioned for Gracie to follow him.
