the warmest light seeped into my bones, absorbed
by my delicate, frail skin and found a home in places so isolated, untouched and empty. i felt the first rays of a sun, so kind, gentle and patient, make me glow from the inside out; until my skin was once again heated to the touch, my tired, haunted eyes waking up for the very first time, the sole witness to the sheer beauty of the sunlight and it's comforting presence.
