when we first met, the stars igniting the sky, untamed supernovas blasting and empowering
the world, i told you that i would never leave, that
a goodbye would not be shared between us, and i held onto that promise no matter how much you pushed me away, like the tides forcing the sand to drown, every single particle of sand clinging on so desperately. i was there for you through everything. but as soon as you got the chance, you walked away from me, the sun kissing the moon goodnight, the stars winking out of existence.
