i wanted to encompass that night into my arms forever. i knew it wouldn't last and that we might never share this moment ever again. but it still
didn't keep me from wishing that this night could last longer; the euphoria glowing against our skin. we spent hours together in each other's arms, spilling secrets, learning new things about each other, whispering sweet words for only our ears.
we were closer than ever, the distance no longer
a barrier keeping us apart. we were moulded into one. once the night was up, the hours disintegrating in my very own hands, the hours flew by like minutes. seconds that i loved but couldn't keep forever.
