<Colby's POV>
I was spelled. I didn't mind being spelled not did I care but it was an amazing experience to be around Sam. Now some of you are probably wondering when I found out and that was when we went on our little date. When I jumped in the water, it wasn't just regular water. It was enchanted water so it washed off the spell. I love Sam and I always will love him but I just hope he loves me back. But besides figuring out I was spelled today was family day here in Auradon, where families from all kingdoms come see their sons and daughters and have some bonding time. I was called over by my parents for pictures after I had to perform something. I decided to actually tell them about Sam, see how they would react. I walked over to them and was greeted by them.

"That was a good performance son" "Yeah you did so good" They both complimented me as I smiled and nodded. We stood for the picture when I almost forgot to tell them. "Hey mom, dad I got a new boyfriend" I said as I looked at them. They smiled and nodded and we posed for the picture. "Well good for you honey, I was gunna say anything but that Brennen boy was just a little self absorbed." "Yeah and who is this lucky new boyfriend of yours son, do we know him?" "Well kind of, Sam!" I looked over at Sam and called him over as we posed for the picture. Once we took the picture I walked over to Sam and hugged him and he hugged back. I grabbed his hand as he blushed and slowly walked over back to my parents. "This is Sam, from the isle and my new boyfriend" I squeezed Sams hand to reassure him and to calm down his nerves which worked a little as my parents hesitantly nodded. "Hi" "Um hi" Sam waved shyly to my dad and honestly was the cutest thing ever. "So I was thinking that maybe Sam can join us for lunch" "Of... Course" My dad said hesitantly while he cleared his throat. "Yeah and I actually came with my friends so is it okay if I invite them aswell?" Sam asked as he looked at my parents. "S-Sure. The more the merrier." My mom said faking a smile which isn't like her but I brushed it off. "How about we play a game of croquet first before lunch?" "Yeah of course, I'm down" Sam agrees and nods while I smile. "Game on!" I laugh and fist bump my dad. Sam and I turn around and walk away as I look at him. "Do you even know-" "No..." He said while sounding kind of upset. I rubbed his arm and kissed his cheek. "Hey it's okay I'll teach you, don't worry" I smiled which made him smile as we walked off.

<Sam's POV>
I was nervous about today, I don't know why I was just really nervous I might slip up. And to top it off I've never played croquet before and his parents want me to play it with turn before lunch. I wasn't prepared since we never played croquet or anything like that on the Isle but luckily Colby taught me and it became easier. I might of been staring at him when someone got my attention.

"Hello there" I turned my head and saw a nice looking older lady with a heart warming smile. "Hi" I said while I gladly gave her a smile back. "Now have we met before?" She asks and I shake my head. "Um no actually, I'm new here at Auradon. I'm kinda like a transfer student" I answer her and shrug while slightly smiling. She nodded and turned around to face someone. "Hello Brennen dear" "Hey Grammy-" I turned around and looked at them. "G-Grammy?" "Sleeping beauty's mother?" Brennen said while looking me up and down and grabs her grandmothers hand. "Grammy I don't think you wanna be talking to this boy, unless you wanna be taking another hundred-year nap" He said with an evil glare but his grandmother was confused. "What?" She asked and looked at me until she realized and fear spread across her face. "Y-You?!" She screamed and everyone looked at us. "H-How are you here? And how have you stayed so young?" She said with disgust and looked me up and down, I felt scared for the first time in forever. I didn't expect this to happen usually I scare other people not the other way around. I didn't realize Colby walking up behind me and gently grabbed my shoulders which caused me to jump and look at him. He nodded and rubbed my arms which slowly calmed me down. "Queen Mora (idk first name that came to my head lol) remember my proclamation about having the villain kids have a chance here in auradon? This is her son, she's still on the isle" Colby ensured her but she didn't like that. "A chance for what Cole? For them to come back and be like their parents and destroy us? But don't you remember? The spells, the poison apples, the curses?! I missed 16 years of my daughters life because of your mother's curse!" I winced at her words feeling so bad so I tried to slowly reach out to her to show how sorry I was about my mother and her wrongful ways. "I-I'm so.." I tried to speak out but I was filled with guilt so I couldn't finish until Shea cut me off as well. "Step back freak!" She yells while getting in front of Brennen and his grandmother. "Shea don't do this" Colby said while getting in front of me to protect me, which caused me to blush since I thought it was sweet. "Why Colby? You know what they'll do if we don't stop them now! And besides what'd their parents teach them, hm?! Oh that's right to be evil and cruel! And sorry I don't support people who steals another guys boyfriend." I slowly looked down knowing she was right. "Shea, you know that's not true! They could change, they'll not like their parents!" Colby kept protesting to defend me and then the next thing I knew, when I looked up trying to hold back the tears, was Shea on the ground passed out and me being dragged away by Katrina with Devyn and Jake following us.

A/N
OMG look who's back after a month peopleeee! I just got done with exams and now I'm on break so yay for that. I'm sorry for the long wait I just got motivation for this but also was super busy. But thank you for the 1.1k reads like WHAT?! That's insane! I never expected that and I see people adding this story to a playlist and voting which makes me so happy. Like I couldn't thank my readers enough and I'm sorry for the slow updates.
