Seven
Amelia could not stop thinking about Antonio, especially the way he had looked when she had gone to drop off Belinda at his house. He had been wearing a vest and thee quarter cargo pants, looking oh so casual but good enough to eat. Something had definitely happened between them. A jolt that felt like electricity had jerked them both when their hands had accidentally touched; the tension between them had been almost palatable. When Amelia had finally driven off to her house, she had passed her turn and had given herself a strict lecture about falling for Antonio. One of her biggest weakness was her strange ability to fall so deeply and so quickly for someone she was attracted to. It was happening now. “Antonio” she whispered just to hear his name on her lips and it felt wonderful. “Antonio, Antonio, ” she repeated giggly childishly. She was so stupid, a sucker for love.
After that night to her delight Antonio had invited her out to lunch, at least she now knew that his interest in her was more than casual. They had flirted outrageously and Amelia knew that there was only one conclusion to this powerful attraction. To her relief and disappointment Antonio had walked her to her car and waved her off. She hadn’t slept that night her body aching deliciously, her dreams filled with a dark eyed, dark haired man. It had been three years since she had been intimate with a man and although it had not bothered her at all before this, she now felt the need for a man’s touch growing within her.
In his office at that same hour Antonio was having trouble concentrating. Amelia was frequently on his mind. It had been a few months since he last felt such a need to totally bury himself in a beautiful woman. Amelia wasn’t the type of woman he preferred. She was not on the slim side and she wasn’t experienced enough for him. Antonio liked his women beautiful and experienced, although Amelia was definitely not a virgin Toni had noticed that she had innocence to her that he did not like. Such innocence was a barrier because such women as Amelia wanted commitment and that was something Antonio was not willing to give right now. He just wanted a woman who would understand that they both had needs that they needed to fulfil; they would both pleasure each other and go their separate ways. If liked each other in a purely physical sense they would continue using each other and when the time came they would break off their arrangement with no hard feelings on both sides.
Amelia was not that type of woman and she was a friend of Belinda. This means if all was normal he should be treating her like a sister but there was nothing brotherly about what he was thinking. He had taken her for lunch because he had been curious about what he had felt between them the night Amy had brought in a drunken Belinda to his house. The lunch had only confirmed what he had feared he was not going to be able to keep his hands off her. He had managed to stop himself from doing anything after the lunch and had waved her off like a gentleman but he was not so sure if next time he would be able to. He just wanted to taste her, to feel her skin against his, to make her moan, if only just once. Maybe then he would be able to get her out of his system.
Amelia was just about to go to bed when there was a knock at her door. She was alarmed and rushed d to the door expecting Emily or Belinda, maybe something was wrong. Amelia was not prepared for the shock mingled with excitement that hit her as she opened the door to Antonio. He had removed his suit jacket and loosened his tie, the white shirt was open at the neck and he had a sheepish smile on his face. “Amy, may I come in?” He asked softly.
Amy knew this question was not casual, if she said yes, she was saying yes to everything that would follow his coming in. she would be saying yes to the demands her body had been making on her, she was saying yes to her dreams coming true, and she was possibly saying yes to her heart being broken. She was aware that such men as Antonio rarely made commitments they took what they wanted and moved on. She knew he was not driven to come here by any deep emotion except just pure lust and maybe a little curiosity. Knowing full well the consequences and knowing she was going to regret it Amy opened the door wider and let him in.
