6. The move

Jade's POV

I was in the kitchen eating some bagel bites when I hear voices come from the front of the house. I notice it's Shane and Rylan, I groan but continue eating while watching Jeffree Stars newest video.

"Jade? Jade? You in here?" I hear my mom call for me

"In the kitchen mom!" I call out to her, all three of them walk into the kitchen.

I look at Shane and he looks like he has been crying, he lightly smiled at me but I just went back to eating.

"Honey, you just gonna ignore your family?" My mom asked me standing in front of me while I'm sitting at the bar.

"No. I'm talking to you aren't I?" I hardly looked up from my phone and I hear my mom sigh.

"Jade Marie. Drop the attitude."

"I'll drop the attitude when you stop forcing me to leave."

"It's for your own good."

"No it's not!" I grabbed my plate and put it in the sink before turning back to everyone. "It's not for my own good. If it was, I wouldn't be forced to move. Living with him is like living with a stranger!"

Rylan gave me a sad look before walking away, "I'll let you guys talk." And he walked into the living room.

"Jade.. please. I'm so sorry about everything. Forgive me.." Shane said before sitting down next to me.

I rolled my eyes at him, "you don't deserve to be forgiven. You're not my brother, you're a stranger. That's it." I spat at him with my harsh words.
He sighed before standing up, "I hope you can find it in you to forgive me Jade." And with that he walked into the living room.

"Jade Marie. Stop being rude to your brother! You're living with that, end of discussion. Nothing is gonna change. This is gonna be good for you."

"How?! I'm happy here!" I shouted at my mother causing her to step back before she shouted at me words I never wanted Shane to know about.

"No you're not! Jade. You tried to kill yourself last month. You still haven't recovered!"

"Wait ? What. Jade is that true?" I looked at him with cold eyes.
"It's none of your business."

"That is.. terrifying. I almost lost my sister."

"I'm not your sister. So butt out."

"Jade Marie! He is your brother and has a right to know!"

I scoffed before going upstairs to grab my things then walking downstairs.

"It's time to go Jade." Ryland said as I walked into the living room.

"Perfect." I said before walking outside and putting my stuff in Rylands G Wagon.

"Oh honey. I'm gonna miss you." My mom said before hugging me tightly while she's crying.

"I'm gonna miss you too mom. I'll call you all the time I promise." I hugged her back.

"Please try to get along with him okay? I know it's gonna be hard.. but try. You two used to be so close.. be nice, and be respectable okay." She said after letting me go and stepping away.

"I-I will try my best.. I promise. And you know me, I'm respectable even if I don't like someone so no problem." I smiled at her giving her one last hug.

"Okay, well we gotta hit the road. We have some place to be in a couple of hours!" Ryland said shooting me a smile and I just nodded at him getting to the Jeep.

Right before I got in I heard someone screaming my name I looked back to the road and see Ashton running to me.
I jump out the Jeep and run into his arms crying.

"I had to see you one last time before you left.. I was worried you left already." Ashton said holding me close to his chest.

"I'm glad you came. I'm really gonna miss you Ash.. I don't wanna go." I said looking up at him sobbing.

"I know Sunflower I know.. but you got to okay? You be good, and be your wonderful self." He murmured planting a kiss on my forehead.

"I-I love you Ashton Harris." I said looking deep into his eyes.

He sighed and rubbed his thumb on my cheek, "I love you too Jade Dawson. Forever and always."

He kissed me lightly on the lips before pulling away with tears running down his face. "Here's  my hoodie. I want you to have it while you're gone."

I looked at the hoodie and saw it was his Lil Peep hoodie. "It's your favorite one though.."

"My favorite hoodie with my favorite girl." He smiled before pulling me into one last giant hug.

I smiled and kissed his cheek before getting into the Jeep. I put on his hoodie, and as we pulled out the drive way.

I waved to Ashton and my mom as Ryland drove away till I couldn't see them anymore. I put my headphones in my ears and sunk in my seat lightly crying.
