11. Surprise?

"Jade whatcha working on?" Shane leans over my shoulder but I slam my notebook shut.

"Do you mind?" I shot him a hard look

"No not at all." Shane smiles

"Privacy Shane. Privacy. Also sarcasm asshole."

"I was just curious you know.." I scoffed and set my notebook down

"Yeah? And I was just curious about my brother for the past 5 years. Looks like we both don't get what we want." With that I stood up and walked to the living room and sat by Andrew.

"Sup goth girl." Andre says cashing Me to laugh and start writing in my notebook again.

"Really Jade?" I look over and saw Shane standing by the kitchen table crossed arms.

"Yes really. Don't start something you can't finish."

"You're so immature" he rolls his eyes at me and walks away.

I just laugh with a pissed off look, "I can't believe him."

Andre puts his arm around me, "When are you two gonna make up?"

"When he proves himself. I'm not letting him go that easy" I said closing my notebook.

"Do you love your brother?"
I looked up at kinda taken back by his question. Why is he pushing the subject? We never talk about this stuff.

"I-I well. Of course I love my brother.. but he fucked up big time."

"I get that. But he really is a great guy. Open up to him, give him a chance Jade." He said giving me hug and all I could do was nod at him.

"Plus! We are going somewhere today."

"Who is?"

He laughed, "Shane, Me, and you."
I looked at him and groaned, "Do I have too?"

"Yes. It's important okay?"

"Fineeee."

I laid my head on his shoulder, "When are we leaving?"
In the most nonchalant voice he said, "In 10 minutes."
"Are you kiddingggg"
"Nope."

Just then Shane walks in the room, "You two ready?"
We nod and all pile into Shane's jeep.
Since Andrew got shotgun I sat in the back.

"We're are we going?" But of course I got the stupid response "Surprise"

"Of course it's a surprise." I put my headphones in and looked out the window.
About after 30 minutes we pulled into a gated community.
"Who's house are we going to?" I asked putting my headphones away.

"Jade I'm not gonna tell you." Shane said Sternly with eyes on the road. Andrew was just smiling as big as he could filming with his camera.
Looks like I'm apart of some stupid video.

After another five minutes we pull up to this gigantic house. And I mean it looked like a fucking castle.
"Okay! We are here!" Shane chirps and  gets out the Jeep along with Andrew.

"Here Jade put this on." Shane walks over and puts a blindfold on me.
"Why didn't you make me put this on earlier?"
I was trying to find someone's arm so I don't trip.

"Woah woah here ya go Jade." Yep that's Andrews voice.
We link arms and walk up to the door I'm guessing.
"Here we are. Wait a second Jade." Andrew let go of my arm and I stood there.

I hear them knock on the door and my heart starts racing. I have no idea what's going on and I hate being left in the dark.

The door opens and I get told to take off my blind fold so I do.
