2. Jade Dawson

Jade's POV

My alarm started to blare in my ears as I was having the most beautiful dream. I had met my hero Jeffree Star. But of course it was only a dream. I opened my eyes and groaned Turing my alarm off, I got out of my bed and took a shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed for school.

It's my senior year of college finally after all my hard work I've put into school.

I changed into some black ripped skinny jeans and an old Jeffree Star shirt with a leather jacket and my black Vans. I headed downstairs where I was greeted by Miley.

"Good morning Miley, my sweet girl" I crouched down and pet her. She's so sweet and is my bestfriend now. She's always down to cuddle when I'm sad, and loves to play fetch.

"Jade Marie. Do you wanna be late for school?" I heard my mother ask me from the kitchen.

"Teresa. Do you want to be late for work?" I had asked her back sass like. We would always joke like that, I love my mom our relationship with each other was great.

She started laughing and handed me my lunch. "I won't be. But you have 30 minutes to get to school and we live 20 minutes away from the school."

"Okay good point! I'll be heading out!" I grab my book bag and phone and started towards the door when I heard my mother utter the words i thought I'd never hear.

"Don't forget you're visiting Shane this summer! He's coming here for your graduation."

I looked back at her with wide eyes, "Thats so unfair!" And left for school.

Teresa's POV

"Don't forget you're visiting Shane this summer! He's coming here for your graduation!"

"That's so unfair!" And she headed out the door. I sighed and cleaned up the kitchen before heading to work. Poor darling, I know her and Shane haven't spoke for years but they need each other. I know they miss each other but she's so angry at him, and she won't talk to me about it. Though I wish she would.

Jade's POV

I pulled up to campus and got out my car and headed to the Quad. I put my headphones in and sat at a table listening to My Chemical Romance. I started writing in my journal when I noticed someone sit by me, I looked up and saw it was my best friends Liza and Ashton.

"Oh hey guys." I closed my journal and put it up.

"Hey Jade!" Ashton smiles then cocked his head to the side, "why the long face J?"

I sighed and put my face in my hands, "My mom told me Shane is coming for my graduation.. and that I have to visit him this summer.."

"Ouch. But doesn't she know you guys aren't on talking terms?" Ashton asked me

I looked at him with tears in my eyes and he grabbed my hand. "Yes. She's always known.. so I don't know why she's doing this to me."

"Wait why aren't you and your brother talking?" Liza questioned me. She had only came to this school last year, so I never got around to tell her everything. Ashton has always known however, he's known since high school.

"Long story L. A tale for another time." I took my hand away from Ashton and put my head down.

"Okay J. Whenever you're ready to say I'm here for you!" She smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back.

"Thanks guys for being here for me. I'm just really worried for graduation.." I trialed off, "I don't even know what to expect ya know?"

They nodded at me. "You're only 19 Jade, how are you a senior in college anyway?"
