I took a walk to the shadowland
Where darkness and light work hand in hand
Painting the ground with a growing dark
Light meets black with a contrast so starkThis kingdoms borders expand so slow
The light pushes and the darkness grows
The piercing cold makes it so hard to stay
Each second within I begin to payThe memories of the past continue to linger
Venom flows from the scorpions stinger
So numb and dull my ambitions begin to lapse
I watch my chest rise then softly collapseEverything I touch crumbles and falls like dust
I continue to trudge on thinking I must
This walk has become more than I can bare.
The shadowlands price is life, buyer beware
