Flashback contd....

Fab5 boys were thinking of what can be done.

        Manik : "We may not be able to interact with him much during the classes. He said that he sings and plays guitar. If he is good at it and if he is interested, we can get him to join our band. We don't let anyone into our group as such, but we need to make sure that he is trustworthy. Mukti can get to know him and judge for herself and we can be sure of her safety too."

        Abhi was still thinking of how to proceed further - how to find out why he felt the way he did, and how to know more about Mukti. When Fab5 approached him with the suggestion of joining the band, he readily accepted.

Flashback ends..

        Nandini : "Then what happened?"

        Abhi : "I have been with them since then."

        Nandini : "That I could figure out, I was asking about you and Mukti."

        Abhi : "That's all. I haven't proceeded further."

        Nandini : "Oh! The way Mukti supported your views, I thought you were in a relationship already."

        Nandini : "Do you want more time to confirm your feelings for her?"

        Abhi : "No, I am sure about my feelings. I know it isn't just attraction, because it hasn't faded over time. Like how you said that day, I just happened to fall for her. I didn't know anything about her then. It happened around the time I lost my sister, so I wasn't even in the frame of mind to be thinking about any girl or their qualities as such. Now, I can say I like her the way she is, but I don't know if I will be able to let go of her like you mentioned."

        Nandini : "Why are you thinking of letting go of her now itself? You haven't even expressed what you feel for her yet. Letting go comes into picture only in extreme situations. Maybe you won't have to face such circumstances at all in the future. Even if you face them and you are ready to let go, she may not let you do so if she also loves you enough."

        Nandini : "If you are sure about your feelings, then why haven't you proceeded further?"

        Abhi : "I am scared."

        Nandini : "Of Mukti?"

        Abhi : "Not her."

        Nandini : "Oh, of her protective friends? I had heard other people are scared of Fab6, but I didn't know you are scared of your group too."

        Abhi : "I am not scared of them, but I am scared of losing them."

        Nandini : "I didn't understand. Why will you lose them?"

        Abhi : "I am not sure of what Mukti feels for me. Sometimes I feel maybe she feels the same for me. Sometimes I feel maybe I am assuming things, maybe she just treats me as a friend. I thought I should tell her about my feelings and find out what she has to say, but I haven't found the courage yet. If she doesn't feel the same for me, I might lose her friendship too."
