Part 28

Fab4 met. Mukti and Abhi explained everything to Cabir and Dhruv.

        Cabir : "It is right to tell Manik, but I don't know how he will react to it."

        Mukti : "He will react to it the same way we did. We are shocked at Alya's behavior, but we will still be there for her since she is one of us."

        Cabir : "I don't think so. He won't take this matter as lightly as you are saying. He cares a lot for Nandini and he is very protective of her, so it is difficult to predict what might happen?"

        Mukti : "Why do you think so? He knows Nandini as much as we know her. He knows Alya way longer than Nandini, so he will support Alya like we do."

        Cabir : "You are mistaken. He definitely has known Alya longer than Nandini, but he has known Nandini longer than any of us, including Abhi. Manik has been concerned for her from the time he met her. Overtime, his care and concern for her has only grown. Didn't you see how quick he was at defending Nandini? I don't remember him supporting any other girl going against Alya. I am sure he wouldn't have relaxed at all until Nandini was proven innocent."

        Abhi : "Cabir is right about Manik's concern for Nandini. Manik was in continuous touch with me till Nandini's innocence was proved. Actually, he was the one who gave me the idea to look for the CCTV cameras. But I don't understand why you are saying that Manik has known her for longer than me?"

        Cabir : "Do you remember Manik met a girl when he went for his cousin's wedding because Aunty persuaded him?"

        Abhi : "Yes, I do."

        Cabir : "The girl he met was none other than Nandini."

        Abhi and Dhruv were surprised at this revelation.

        Dhruv : "It was Nandini who changed Manik's perception?!"

        Mukti : "What are you guys talking about? Why did Aunty persuade Manik to meet Nandini? How did she change Manik's perception? Why has Manik been concerned about Nandini? How come you all know about it and I don't?"

        Cabir : "It isn't my story to tell. It is better you ask Manik about it. Moreover, I don't know everything. Based on what I have managed to know, I can tell that he cares a lot more for Nandini than you can imagine. So revelation of this information will definitely impact his relationship with Alya, I just don't know to what extent."

        Fab4 decided to talk to Manik first and then figure out whether to reveal the information to him or not.

When Fab5 were together,

        Mukti : "Manik, how were you so sure that Nandini didn't push Alya? We all have known Nandini for the same amount of time, except Abhi. I would have probably believed in what Alya said since she is our friend and I have also known her for longer than I have known Nandini."

        Manik : "Actually, I knew Nandini even before Abhi introduced her to us. I just didn't know that she was staying at his house. You have seen how she put herself at risk to save us. I have seen her trying to save even something as small as a butterfly or a bird's egg without caring that she will get hurt. How can someone like that, harm anyone else?"

        Mukti : "How do you know her then? Why didn't you tell us that you knew her before?"

        Manik explained how he met Nandini when he went for his cousin's wedding.
