Part 26

Fab5 left Nandini's room.

        Cabir : "What is the matter Dhruv? You understood Nandini so well in just a few days. You were also warning Nandini against me. Have you started developing feelings for her? Shall I talk to her?"

        Manik : "Cabir, she wants to focus on her studies, so don't try to fill her mind with unnecessary things and distract her. She already has lot of other things in her life to tackle, so don't add to it."

        Dhruv : "Why are you always trying to link someone or the other? First, you were getting Manik into trouble saying that he is favoring her, when he didn't even know her. Then you started asking Abhi if he had feelings for her, when he was trying to see his sister in her. Now since no one else is left, you are trying to target me."

        Dhruv : "I don't have any such feelings for her. I know her only as much as you know her. From the time we known her, she has been helping us in one way or the other, which shows that she is good at heart. There aren't many people like her, who would think of others' wellbeing before their own, so let her be the way she is. Don't make her evil like you. You are ready to enjoy even at our expense."

        Cabir : "How come Alya has been quiet all this time? I was expecting a volcanic eruption that would blow up on Manik."

        Manik : "You started off troubling us again. Alya, like how Mukti said, Nandini is here for us and she is in this state because she tried to save us. So it is our responsibility to take care of her..."

        Mukti : "Manik, you don't have to explain to her. Even she saw what happened, she would have understood by now, right Alya?"

        Alya : "Yes."

        She said so because she felt that everyone would talk in favor of Manik or Nandini if she disagrees. In reality, she was similar to a volcano which was ready to erupt like how Cabir said.

        Alya's thoughts : "I wasn't there with them for just a few days. Nandini has managed to cast a spell on them. Everyone's become a fan of her. Abhi used to hate villagers, but he had already started treating her like a sister. She matches Cabir's sister criteria list. Dhruv is also talking in her favor. Even Mukti, who supports me always, wanted to stay back for her. She stopped me from taking Manik away from her."

        Alya's thoughts : "Manik, who used to stay away from other girls for my sake, was showing concern for her right in front of me. He knew what she had in her bag, he touched her leg, and remembered when it was time for her medicines. He got close to her when I wasn't around to stop him. I can't tolerate it and I won't let this continue, but I have to keep calm till we go back. She will no longer be around us once we get back."

        Next day, they started their journey from the hotel and reached home.

        The day after, Fab6 were in the jam room.

        Cabir : "Mukti when are you giving us the treat?"

        Mukti : "How is Nandini doing?"

        Abhi : "She is okay. She has already started coming to college."

        Mukti : "She should have stayed back and taken rest."

        Abhi : "She is very particular about her studies, so she doesn't miss classes unless there is no choice."

        Alya wanted to put a stop to their conversation about Nandini.

        Alya : "Cabir is asking for a treat and you didn't respond to him yet?"
