Manik was with Nandini at the hospital.

        Manik : "Why didn't you tell me that Alya tried to harm you before? You had the opportunity to get her punished, then why did you let her go scot-free?"

        Nandini : "I thought it would upset you. You once told me that your relationship with Alya is interlinked with Fab6 and Fab6 is important to you. You were hoping that things will get better. If I would have told you, you would have confronted her about it. It might have lead to an argument between you both. I didn't want to complicate things further for you."

        Nandini: "I didn't file a complaint against her, because it would have impacted her whole life. She was admitted in the hospital and I didn't want to add to her problems. Moreover, nothing happened then. You saved me both the times."

        Manik : "I didn't even know that she tried to push you till recently, then how did I save you?"

        Nandini : "As always, according to you, it was a coincidence. I was standing at the top of the stairs. I saw you in the adjacent hallway and moved from there to meet you, that's how I escaped. You saved me without realizing it yourself."

        Manik was still upset about how things had turned out.

        Manik : "Neither you nor my friends told me about it. If I had known, maybe we could have avoided this situation altogether. You thought of her welfare and let her go, but instead of being grateful to you, she continued to harm you. She didn't even think before trying to get you killed. I don't know what to do with her. If it was in my hands, I would have either put her in prison or in an asylum. She tried to kill you, but she isn't even feeling guilty for what she did. She is still roaming free. You tried to be good to her, but you are suffering in the hospital."

        Nandini : "Abhi wanted to let you know, but I stopped him. Fab6 is as important to your friends as it is to you, so they also kept it away from you. Don't get upset with them, let it go."

        Nandini : "I know what she did was wrong. I wouldn't have stopped you, if it was someone else in her place. If something happens to her, won't it effect all of you? So don't do anything in haste. I don't want you to regret about it later."

        Manik : "In spite of everything that happened with you, you are still thinking that it will affect her and us. Being too good to others isn't good for you. See where your goodness has landed you."

        Nandini : "I am fine now. Fab6 is important to you and Abhi, and you both are important to me. I won't be able to see you both upset. If it lands me in trouble, then you are always there to save me, right?"

        Manik : "That, I will be there. I will make sure that you don't land in trouble in the first place, definitely not because of me."

        Manik and Nandini hadn't realized Cabir was around because there was a divider separating the door and the bed. Cabir joined them.

        Nandini : "It is good that you are here. Make him understand that he is no way responsible for what happened. I tried to, but you told me that you are his chuddy buddy (close) friend, and no one understands him better than you do. So, you might be able to make him understand better."
